My husband and I are always on the go and trying to get everything done for the one ultimate goal of our day.... Settling in to have dinner and family time. We start out day by 5 a.m. with all the normal stuff like getting ready for work, getting kiddos ready for school, then getting to the bus stop ( a task all its own). That is a 1 1/2 hour episode just to get ready to start our day. By the time we are all rolling in about 4 p.m. from work and school we only have about 5 hours to fit in all of the post extravaganza fun in. Homework, dinner, showers, laundry, all of the daily living stuff. We don't want to spend all of that time in the kitchen for 15 minutes of fame.
Tonight we tried something new for us. And... it was AMAZING!!! We tried the Stouffer's frozen lasagna with meat and sauce and CHEESE. It was so good. There is no way we could have bought all the ingredients to make the meal, and prepared it with the amount of money and time we actually spent on it. We chose the micro bake option. it was microwaved for a portion of time then baked for the rest of it. It seriously went from the freezer to our plates in a little over an hour. As far as time management goes, the lasagna went in the oven, homework and laundry got done then we had dinner.
