It isn't every day you get a niece as cute as mine. Well, all of my nieces are adorable, but Kaya takes the cake. Birthday cake even, since she was born on my birthday! Anyway, taking pictures of her is one of my favorite things to do because she has that sweet little baby face that just demands an "aww!"
Since the holidays are all about taking pictures and making memories, I was so excited to be able to work with ToysRUs to do a review for Heidi Klum's Truly Scrumptious line. That's where Kaya comes in - I borrowed her to make sure we could really show off just how scrumptious these cute clothes are!
That adorable dress up there is a empire waist long sleeve dress with a brocade pattern, highlighted with a simple lavender sash and bow - simple but so sweet! It's made of 95% cotton so it's really soft and comfortable for my niece, and the 5% spandex makes sure it fits snugly. With a three button closure on the back, it's easy to put on and take off, and it's machine washable - something I know my sister will really appreciate!
The jacket is a faux fur zip up coat with a silky lining, so I know she'll be warm on the cold trips to Grandma's house (and Auntie's!) Unfortunately, it was a little bit big on her, so we didnt snap any pictures with the jacket on. She's in a size 18 months, and the jacket is a small, so if you're thinking about getting one - just know that it runs a little bit bigger.
I really love how well this fits her, and her mom loved the three layer skirt that made sure her diaper didn't show through. There's also a white diaper cover included - a big plus. Overall, we were all really impressed with the quality (especially for the price - you can get this dress for less than $12!) and I can't get over how cute it is on her!
Always the little diva, Kaya loved showing off in her new dress, and I love how great her pictures turned out. I've already been telling everyone I know with babies and toddlers to check out the Heidi Klum collection because these are amazing baby clothes!
