They really do burn longer, get brighter than the others we got at the super center, and didn't leak. We have had that problem before with leaky glow sticks and it is no fun.
The quality and quality alone make this product worth it. The package of 5 sticks is $1 at our local store. This package is $12.95 for 100 sticks. The price difference is 20c Vs. 13c per stick. The even better part is that is you don't want to use all of the sticks at once, they come in a lidded canister that closes back up. It is so easy to store the unused glow sticks for the next party.
We have girls. Cassie is always wanting to have sleep overs and little girl parties. She always wants glow sticks. This is a much better option for us. The next best part is when you order them on Amazon, if you have Prime it's free shipping.
