Xylitol Birch Sweetener is a great sugar alternative. It tastes sweet just like sugar. I used it in the ultimate test and won.
My daughter loves Cream of Wheat. I am from the mid west, we all love Cream of Wheat. When we moved to the south, it was not only a change in atmosphere but a change in foods that are regularly served. Back home when we went out for breakfast we had options like toast, Cream of Wheat, English Muffins, bagels, and oat meat as a side. Here we get toast and grits.
So I make it at home. She knows her creamy hot breakfast cereal is sweet, buttery, and milky. I always add a little extra sugar just to make her smile. I used the Xylitol Morning Pep all week. NOT ONCE did she ask if there was something different. She loves it. That is the big test to me is getting a sweetener past her.
Aside from the Cassie test, Aron is diabetic. He likes sweets too but he has sacrificed his sweet tooth for healthier living. He likes Xylitol in his drinks and cereal as well. He said its sweet and doesn't leave a filmy after taste.
I am very happy about this because Xylitol has less calories and less carbs than sugar with the same great taste quality. I gladly recommend this product to anyone that likes their sweetener but wants a healthier alternative.
