My family is the most important thing in the word to me. I can say that without a shadow of doubt on my lips. I live and breath for them. Their health, well being, happiness, everything about them is everything about me.
I love them. I need them. I would not be me, without them.
My girls are very healthy and I am so very thankful for that. Aron on the other hand not so much. He has diabetes and high blood pressure. That's why I love these medi Alert Bands. When I ordered mine, it was with him in mind. I got the stainless steel necklace (more manly than a bracelet to him) and it has his symbol on it. That way if something were to happen and I was not there to answer for him, that necklace says it for me.
My example of this is a few years ago he had a seizure while he was driving. He totalled our car and broke his, arm, leg and his independance. He doesn't drive anymore. We made that decision together because we were devastated when he could have died in that accident but, what if he would have hurt someone else.
I love the different styles in the children's alert category. There are so many different cool styles that kids don't have to be embarrassed to have an allergy. They can show that they are different and it's ok. Thank makes it so much easier for parents and teachers. I don't know how many kids that have stayed over on slumber parties that didn't tell me ahead of time that they had allergies. I'm lucky it was only cat, dog, dust, and little irritants. I would have know if they had a bracelet on.
Another awesome thing that I absolutely love is the Fever Mates. It makes the fever so much easier to keep an eye on. That way there is no guess work. The cute little stickers don't get in the way. there are no sessions of holding down, poking, stay still for 30 seconds bribery. ALL kids love stickers!!
