Hunting Helpers with LifeWell, Acquapura, and FSL Gunblock

So who knows an outdoors man? I know their are many in my life. This post is actually inspired by my stepdad Reese. He is the hunting-est, fishing-est, &  tree stand fixing-est guy I know. He can track a deer from a lifetime away.

I have been in the car with him as he slams on the breaks, gives us whiplash, just to point out to every passenger in the car; there was a deer/bear/hog/squirrel/rabbit that crossed in the grass, up a hill, down a bank, and was on it's way to grama's house. All jokes aside, everything was true except the grama's house part. :)

Here are a few products I was able to review lately that he loves and uses frequently. FSL Gunblock Earmuffs, Acquapura Personal Filter Straw  and LifeWell Hori Hori Garden Knife. I have to admit, these are very cool products.

I was sitting here in my living room, hunting solace and enjoyed those FSL Gunblock Earmuffs when it dawned on me that he would be the best person for these reviews. This is what he has to say.

The earmuffs are a great buffer when shooting and my ears don't ring. I can still hear but the intense blast from the gun doesn't hurt so bad. They have a nice snug fit that goes all the way around my ears. The band is nice and tight so they don't slip down or scoot around when I am in motion.

The knife is awesome. It's perfect for when I am out in the woods. Vines are a big issue in our area. A regular pocket knife will cut them but, there is slipping and sawing. With the LifeWell Hori Hori Garden Knife I can cut the vines away with no problem. That means less time until I can get into my stand. That makes so much difference.

The LifeWell Hori Hori Garden Knife has a great handle for easy gripping so it works on anything in the woods or anything in the yard. Aron is our landscaper here. This knife cuts right through roots that grow through the flower bed. I love this knife it's great for everything outside from chopping up the dirt to cutting unruly vines.

Acquapura Personal Filter Straw is one of the coolest things to get for an outdoorsman. When my stepdad is in the woods hunting and doing all of his outdoor stuff, this is perfect. Now he doesn't have to carry a bag for water.

This is awesome for so many other reasons, to keep in the glove box in case the car breaks down. There is always that "what if" circumstance. I love the peace of mind of knowing that even if I don't have a case of water in the trunk, I know that I can find a creek, stream, anything that water will be accessible.

I received one or more of these products for free in exchange of an honest, unbiased review. If you have any questions about these products or would like to see your product here, please contact Amy & Aron's Real Life Reviews at [email protected]
