Here it is again, holiday season. This time of year is so busy for us and we don't spend as much time as we would like to together. With all of the preparing, planning, practicing, and working it's hard to get us all together for more than 30 minutes. Our one time that we devote to each other is our dinner time.

There is something magic about the stories that come to life around the table. It's beautifully magical to me. As the coordinator of this, I take great pride in it. I love knowing that the food giving them the energy to fuel their bodies, is made here in our home.
Ragu® is a serious part of that magic. One of our all time favorite dinners together is spaghetti. That's something we all agree on. It is a great 30 minute meal to get us through our busy schedule. We went to Kroger this weekend and got all of the ingredients for an amazing Sunday Dinner.
Kroger has an awesome bakery that makes the Garlic bread we love so much. It's the take and bake kind. It has all of the yummy buttery garlic and all of seasoning already on it. It's perfect for soaking up the extra spaghetti sauce.
When we all get together we like to share what has been going on in our day. It is a very important part of our dinner time. It is the meal time magic that I love. No matter what is going on, we still take this time out to listen to each other without interruptions or judgement. If you have children in the teen/preteen age, you know how painful that can be at times. We call this sharing time "Happy & Crappy" We all have to say something positive and something negative about the day so we can talk about it.
With our busy schedule, we try to stick to the fastest, most delicious meals to share; Ragu® is a major part of a lot of them. They offer a greatly seasoned sauce that needs no additions. We use it for spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, pizza pockets, home made vegetable beef soup (that's right, the perfect base!), By Ragu® taking the time to make sure we have a variety of seasoned sauce to compliment the perfect dish.
We love to add different meats to the dishes to make them our own. Tonight we made spaghetti with Italian sausage, and vegi noodles. This is how easy it is to make one of our awesome family meals.
Starting out put water on to boil, turn oven on to preheat, get the Italian Sausage on to brown.
When the meat is browned drain and add Ragu® Pasta Sauce. By that time you should be able to add the noodles to the water and the bread to the oven.
Turn the sauce to a simmer and wait on the bread and noodles. That's it.
Those simple steps make our Meal Time Magic.
