Pink Ribbon Pilot Pens Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast Cancer is something that affects so many people in this world. It is mean, ugly, non-discriminant, unkind, and powerful. So many families know the pain of what Breast Cancer can do.

I want to share with you an amazing partnership I recently found out about. Pilot Corporation of America (Pilot Pens) and National Breast Cancer Foundation. Pilot Pens is a part of some really amazing foundations and this is another one that is so close to my heart.

Pilot Pens has donated 15% of gross proceeds from each Pink Ribbon Product Sold and will continue to do so through December 31, 2015. Donating up to $100,000 annually to National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Pilot is a proud supported to the National Breast Cancer Foundation in it's efforts to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need, providing great pens for an even greater cause.

Breast Cancer changed my whole family with my Aunt Lisa. She was the coolest! She had the most infectious laugh. I can still hear it. She is the voice of my conscious when I am doing something bone headed. Even before she passed away, I could hear her. My very own Jiminy Cricket.

I loved to write when I was younger, I still do, that's why I have Amy & Aron's Real Life Reviews. Lisa bought me my first journal. I will never forget it. It was a burgundy velvet bound journal with white, gold lines pages.

That journal got me through all of the gut wrenching, dramatic, hard core emotions that only a teenager could know. She understood and was bravery to let it all out. Writing about her and that journal are so bitter sweet to me. My God I miss her so much

She lived with us a lot when I was little. Her over the top personality beautiful smile, strength, independence and taste for everything creepy was most appealing to me. I looked up to her so much and thrived for her approval in what I did. I see so much of her in my oldest daughter.

She was only 28 when she found out she had Breast Cancer. She fought one hell of a fight and won. She was 12 years breast cancer fee when the bone cancer came and ended up taking her away from us way too soon. She left an impression on my heart and in my whole life.

Please get checked out, check up-ed, and be aware. Early detection is the key in winning. Thank you Pilot Pens for providing me with a sample of your amazing Pink Ribbon Pens.

  1. I am so very sorry about your Aunt Lisa. She sounds like she was an amazing human being!! I'm religious about my annual exams...no messing around here! Although I'm not a "pink person", I love pilot pens and would definitely purchase one when I find them...love the support to Breast Cancer that they provide!!
