How many of you have heard of Genesis Bows? Genesis Bows has this amazing program called the Build A Bow. A bow is made to be completely customize-able to match you or your child's liking. I am so excited, my daughter is going to have a cow over this bow.
I have designed hers all black and purple. From the hand she uses all the way to the grip cups. I mean everything is the way I wanted it to be. The upper limb, lower limb, risers, cable rod, cam, wheel, string 1, string 2, cable, and even the grip. There are so many options of colors! White pink and green camo, red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, pink, black white and even silver. That is enough color to make sure anyone you want to have one can get the exact colors they want.
I love the Genesis Build-a-Bow tool. I got to pick my colors over and over until I got the right one. I really like the white and the pink camo patterns. My daughter's favorite color is purple so, I chose that. At one point I had every piece a different color.
You can check it out at Genesis Build-a-Bow.
Genesis Bow has a plan and it is an awesome plan, as soon as I heard it I knew I wanted in on spreading the word. The NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) recognizes Genesis Bow as the "Official & Only Bow of National Archery in the Schools Program". and I am lucky enough to review and host a giveaway on one. This is so exciting. What will you make yours look like if you win?
NASP is an awesome program for kids. I didn't know just how popular it was or how organized it was until I did this review. Did you know that it's in 13,000 schools and used by 2 million kids nation wide, annually? It was founded in 2002 and had made archery fun and engaging and extremely save with a zero archery-related injury record (Very Impressive).
There are so many benefits to archery that we want so badly for our girls. To my husband and I, Archery is a great way to get them to focus on their own individual goals as well as be able to work in a team setting.
- Eye hand coordination and balance.
- Increases focus and patience.
- Archery is a social sport and all ages and levels of athletic ability can participate in.
- Helps youth develop a strong connection with nature.
- Archery is not about hunting and weaponry. It is categorized with bowling, badminton and, table tennis.
The benefits of Genesis Compound Bow's include
- Children can't outgrow it because there is no specific draw length.
- With a draw length of 15" to 30", everyone in the family can use this bow to shoot.
- Beginner archers won't develop bad habits cause by ill fitting bows.
- All Genesis Bow's can be customized with the Build A Bow tool on the Genesis website.
- The Genesis Original (what we have), Mini, and Gen-X are available in convenient Kits.
These awesome kits include the customized bow, belt tuber quiver, adjustable arm guard, and five aluminum arrows.
This is a great holiday gift this year. I don't know of any kids that wouldn't absolutely love this. This gift is one that will last a lifetime. Being able to practice at home instead of having to go to a range is priceless. My daughter said she feels like Katniss.
She is so happy and it feels good in her hands. It's not too heavy for her to hold and use. The arm strap is a good fit and easy to adjust. "The Arrows Are REAL?!" This is a huge step in her growing up, she still uses safety scissors and butter knives only.
I am so excited we had the opportunity to review this program. I was happy about it and then my daughters' reaction was everything I had hoped for.
