It's time for a little R & R. One holiday out of the way and a little over 3 weeks until the blow out, 15 minutes of fame that we are all working so hard for. Isn't it mind blowing the you work HARD, for months for all of these amazing gifts. The burst of excitement that only lasts a few minutes; If you're not careful, you will miss half of the expressions.
Here is just a few things that I have found lately that will help you wash away the stress and prepare for the rest of the adventure. All it takes is a few minutes to make me feel a million times better.
I will start with the Shower Bouquet Shower Pouf. This is an amazing pouf. They last forever it seems like. This is the second time I have worked with them on a review. I am still using my pink one from the last pack.
These poufs are so soft and the silky ribbon in the center is silky ribbon hook to hang it up to dry. This package is a 4 pack of multi colored poufs. These can make any shower soap suds up really nice and last. No need to re-soap for the whole shower.
The multi color in these poufs is around the tips and it just looks so pretty. They are the perfect addition to any bathroom set up.
These make a great DIY project too. You can make a very personal basket or a bunch of the same ones to hand out. Add in a pouf, a few travel sized soaps, a razor, some face wash or any other little random toiletry item, and you have the most special basket.
Have you ever heard of Bandelettes? These are anti-chafing thigh bands. They are sexy and they stay put. Even the most muscular legs chafe sometimes. These bands have a great stay in pace band, just like the ones on thigh highs.
These are really comfortable and breathable so I don't sweat. That makes a huge difference for me. They stretch but don't stretch out. No sweating and no chafing. Super sexy on top of all of that. I love them.
To clean my face, Eclipse Hydrating Cleanser is the way to go. This is so easy to use. One time in the morning and one time at night. Just like regular. This has helped so much in fixing my dry spots and helping make my skin more even. I've been more clear and less patchy.
It has a nice smooth lather and is mild scented. It's not real mediciney scented like some hydrating washes. Another awesome part is not feeling oily. There is no funky residue left over and I feel softer with less breakouts.
It's also anti-aging because of the hydration. I can already see a difference in my skin, I can't wait to see the long term effect!
After the clensing comes the Black Head and Pimple Remover. This is my secret weapon!! I can get a zit from anywhere with this set. These are so nice big small deep or shallow, I don't care, I got it!! These are all dual ended and stainless steel so you can sterilize.
The awesome case has a strap for each and every tool so they won't fall out and get lost. They are slim and easy to hold on to. I really like this set.
There is something else I have never discusses on here before and that is something I got for my daughter. It is called the Blossom Cup. Have you ever heard of that or tried one? It is a cup to use during your monthly cycle instead of using tampons or pads.
There are so many upsides to this that I never thought of before. Eco-friendly, non-invasive, cost efficient, helps your body by reducing cramping and odor, and even lets you see exactly what your body is producing.
There are different folds to use to get the "perfect fold". If is a very soft and flexible and fits right to your body. The tip on the end acts the same as what a string would be on a tampon. Since it is silicone material, it is the temperature of your body.
Another feature is the changing. 3-4 times a day on heavy days vs 6-8 with tampons. No over flowed pads to worry about. This is something that is totally new to me but not new to the world. Just a little FYI the first menstrual cups were designed in 1936 and made out of rubber. We have come a long way!!
Something absolutely amazing for my hands is the Shea Butter Hand Cream by Live Fresh. This is an awesome and thick cream with a great scent. It leaves my hands feeling nice and soft instantly and stays.
It does work better the longer I use it but it gives great superior results the first time. I love that. I have used so many hand lotions that are so waters and don't do anything that they claim and on top of that leave my skin feeling sticky with a tacky residue. Not the case with the Shea Butter Hand Cream.
This is an organic blend too. That makes me feel better about using it. I like knowing what I am putting on my body has natural ingredients along with the other stuff.
