Kendamas are really awesome too. I teamed up with MMP Living on reviews of all 3 of their new colors. Red, Blue and Natural. These are so much fun and promote activity. It's a blast watching the kids get up and move. Especially when they are trying to catch the ball. It can only go so far because it's on a string but they run like crazy.
All of the wood is nice and smooth so there is no splinters. The Red and Blue are awesome bold colors The natural color is a nice light color. The way to play it is catching the ball on any of the rounded spots. and flipping it to keep it going. This takes eye hand coordination, patience, and balance. These are awesome for my kids.
