Proud To Be an American and Show It Off

What is your favorite yard ornament? Do you have a theme? Recently, I have taken a liking to making our yard into part of our home. For years, I thought mowing, weed eating, and picking up toys were good enough.

I got to review a really cute flag and stand and I love it. Aron has an American flag hanging on the porch. we are not a military family but we do love showing our patriotic love. The flag that came with the stand was a small American flag. We are proud to be Americans.

This stand is awesome because of how sturdy it is. It came in 3 pieces and screws together. and is very strong. We got Shepard hooks before Easter. I was so disappointed in the quality. They are metal and have the same base type.

The only issue I had with the set at all, which isn't that big of a deal to me is the clip didn't come in the package. The clear clip that keeps it from coming away from the post is the one I am talking about.

But, if you put anything with weight on it, it leans. The flag stand holds the flag and holds up to the wind with no problems at all. We have had the windiest weather in the past few weeks but this set is still just as strong as it was when I put it in the ground.

The fully assembled stand is 32 inches tall. It's perfect for the front yard. The 2 sided flag is so cute. I love the way the flag goes on by the loop in the top of the flag. So it hangs without twisting. It also came with a rubber flower shaped stopper to keep it from blowing off.

This is the perfect flag for our garden. If you get one let me know what you think of it.

  2. What a great way to display the flag! I don't know all the proper etiquette for displaying flags though. Like when they should be at half mast, do you take them down at night? or during storms?

  5. What a great way to hang the flag. We used to hang it out when dad was in the Army on our front porch. I would love to do this with my sons.

  6. I like that it's a smaller flag and you don't need to have a flag pole attached to the house.
