When we were kids we always used that as the "Halfway through summer vacation" marker. As a parent, I feel like I am being rushed now. I know I only have about a month to get it all together before the school bell rings.
We have worked on some really awesome reviews this summer that are really going to help us out in making our back to school transition so much easier. Once again, LUNCH!
I can pack a school lunch in 5 minutes or less. That sounds like a nice triumph to my fellow lunch packers but, in all honesty, I know I can do it in 2 minutes. Waking up late, a crying kid that I promised the night before will have the most amazing lunch ever and I forgot until it was time to walk out the door. Oh ya, I know i'm not alone in that race.
There is nothing more forceful than a crying munchkin that you made a promise to. So yes in a hurry- 2 minutes.
At a comfortable speed, where I am more focused on what is in the bag vs filling the bag. I know I can spend 5 minutes and have the magic packed perfectly with a note that says I love you, and Have a Great Day!
I have 2 very awesome ideas that will make any lunch perfect and will be filling, AND is HEALTHY!! Don't tell them that. We want them to stay cool kids.
Sunkist Tuna Pouches and AquaBall. This is something that takes up minimal space, is easy to open and tastes great. The best part, they are available in stores and online. That is a big deal to me. I love being able to get what I need from the comfort of my own home but, if it's something the kids like, I want to be able to run out and pick it up if we run out.
AquaBall is a naturally flavored water that comes in a cute ball shaped bottle that is perfect for kids hands. They offer a great variety of flavors that keep the kiddo's wanting more.
AquaBall has a great story about how they came to be. You can find it here at the "Our Story" page on their website.
They have created the Aqua Ball Pledge.
Aqua Ball Pledge which encourages parents to swap out one sugary drive a day and replace it with an AquaBall. The goal is to help children eat healthy and reduce the sugar in their diet. This is a great option for parents, in our opinion. We have had the conversation in our home so many times about the fact that it is cheaper to feed your family unhealthy than it is to feed them healthy options. So, with our budget in mind, we try to find the best options for us and our kids.
AquaBall comes in a variety of great flavors that our kids really like and the designs on the bottles are fun too. Berry Frost, Fruit Punch, Grape, and Strawberry Lemonade,

Starkist Tuna is awesome for kids at school (any everyone else) because of the awesome varieties of fish that come in an easy to open pouch.
No can opener, mixing bowl, or any of that. They offer ready to eat packs that just need a vehicle to drive to your taste bro's or you can eat it by itself.
Bread, crackers, salad, or any of that and it's ready to go. It's so much more convenient than having to mix, double ice and hope for the best on hot days.
Until now, a tuna sandwich were something I would not send to school because I was afraid it would spoil. We would wait until the weekend or teacher work days when we would make tuna sandwiches for all of us.
6 cans of tuna and a loaf of bread was the foundation to so many fun kitchen memories!!
It's not just a Tuna Sandwich anymore either. StarKist makes so many awesome choices. I was sent a variety of flavors to try out with my squad. Albacore White Tuna, Tuna Creations Sweet & Spicy, Salmon Creations Mango Chipotle, Kid's Creations Bacon Ranch flavored Tuna, Skinless Boneless Pink Salmon, and Gourmet Selects Mediterranean Style Tuna.
This is so awesome for going right from the cabinet to the lunchbox. No refrigerator needed. I know I said that before but I am so happy about that!
There are so many awesome recipes on their website too. CLICK HERE to see some of the awesome recipes.
You can find StarKist in stores near you. You can also find StarKist on social media Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram.
