December Boys By Joe Clifford Review

When it comes to books, Aron and Abby are our house's readers. Abby can devour  book in no time flat!! She has been reading the book  DECEMBER BOYS by Joe Clifford. This is such an awesome book she says. I haven't seen her out of her room for the better part of 3 days!

This is what she says about it.

This guy goes to get the final details he need for an insurance claim. The mother isn't home, but he talked the son into letting him in to get the details. At first the boy says the same story that his mother has been telling until the man walked into the living room. He saw pictures of the older brother who was the wrestling superstar of his school. the man and the boy talk, and the boy tells him that his older brother died of a drug overdose. The man leaves thinking about that the whole way home because his brother was a wrestler, and also died of an overdose. Once he gets home him and his wife get into it and he leaves for the night to go drinking with a friend. He comes home the next day to find his wife and son had left to go to his mother in laws because she needed a break After a long lonely weekend he goes back to work, and get offered a promotion because of the claim he finished the details of. He gets excited and eventually goes and sees his wife who he finds out has been hanging out with another man. He gets kicked out of his mother in laws house for trying to fight the other man, and he never got to tell his wife about the promotion. He goes to the bar where a chick he met at the court house regarding the claim thing because the boy got arrested when he shouldn't have. When he got to the bar she gave him some paper work about the boy, then he finishes his beer and leaves. He goes to the town the the boy is being held at, and gets pulled over. The cops rip him out of his truck and beats him up then mentions the girl from the bar. Scared to go back home he goes to the other bar, and talks to his friend to settle his mind. After a while he goes home, and get ready for work. He gets to work and gets in trouble from the stuff dealing with the cops and the girl. To know the rest you'll have to read it, and find it yourself.
