Kitchen Helpers Bamboo Skewers and Stainless Steel Straws

Do you use straws in your house? We do. We go through so many of the disposable plastic straws and we wanted to try to figure out a way to cut back on them. We found the perfect way to do it. Quit buying them :)

We found the awesome Vicsou Stainless Steel Drinking Straws Set that comes with straight and curved straws. This is really cool because we had a set of stainless steel straws before and they were all the straight ones. Most of these guys prefer the bendy's.

This set also comes with a cleaner pipe so I know they will be clean. It's an-easy-to-use set and great for all kinds of drinks.

The cleaner is so easy to use. It has a loop on the end for easy holding on to so it doesn't get stuck in the straw. That is so awesome!

Another really awesome kitchen helper is the Bamboo Picks, Skewers for Chocolate Fountain/Fondue, Kabobs, BBQ, Cocktails, Appetizers, Desserts, Etc. - 7 Inch, Set of 100, these are perfect for big parties. 100 of these guys come in a pack. For the fourth of July, we had a huge party and made food for 20+ people. One of the best ways is ti make a bunch of kabobs and let everyone enjoy themselves.

We were all busy with activities like playing pool, fireworks, socializing, chasing kids, and having a good time that mobile food that isn't chained to a fork and plate is so much easier to do.

Luckily, everyone threw them away instead of throwing them on the ground. I was worried about the spear like tendencies these guys have if they are stepped on.

The funniest part of adding them into the meal plan was the kids helping as miniature chefs. After soaking the skewers for awhile, All of the kiddo's were in here with the vegi's and meat stacking away and competing over who was going to have the prettiest perfect-cooked kabobs.

After about half way through, and it makes me wonder how many times there was a problem before the AHA moment happened. It makes me wish I was paying more attention but, Cassie said -with a very smarty-pants tone in her voice, "Ya know guys, the meat goes on so much better if you use the pointy side."

We all busted out laughing. What can you say to that? Did we not explain the process good enough to her? How many pieces of meat did she try to force a wide flat end through? She is such a trooper. She just kept up making them as fast as she could go.

These are both awesome to have around the house. I received these for a free or discounted rate in exchange of an honest, unbiased review.
