It probably sounds funny but I was sitting here looking around in the kitchen thinking, "What if I didn't have....." What would I use instead?
Simple stuff, the broom, and dustpan, pot holders, foil, cookie sheets, everything really. There are so many things in there that I use all of the time that I really don't think about. It's because they are always there.
I got to review some really cool kitchen stuff lately and I want to share it with you. Let me know what you think.
This 4 piece Oven Mitt and Pot holder set are just what I was needing. I have quite a few oven mitts and pot holders but these are by far thicker and more comfortable to hold. I love the bold lines on the design and the loops on the tops. I can hang them when they aren't in use for easy access in my kitchen.
They have a nice size to them so even my husband can use them. The round ones are really nice to set my pan on after it comes out of the oven or off the stove to keep my counter top safe from the heat. It is a really nice set.
Dust Pan Set is the perfect set to have around. This isn't just for the kitchen, it's just really nice to have everywhere. I like it that it has all of the pieces to clean off all of the surfaces. The hand held dust pan is a nice touch. We have a dustpan on a stick for as long as I can remember because it's easier for Aron to use so he doesn't have to bend. But, in some places, it's so much easier to have the handheld.
The other pieces are so nice too. Squeegee, scrub brush, angle scrubber, and a whisk broom is all the scrubbing tools for flooring, upholstery, car seats, windows, and so much more. I think this is such a great idea.
All of the handles have textured grips so the pieces are easy to hold onto and use. It makes for a much more comfortable grip than just a plain plastic handle. Each piece has a hole, in the end, to make for easy hanging and perfect for storage when not in use.
Digital Kitchen Scale and Food Scale is a really amazing tool to have in the kitchen especially if you are dieting or trying to maintain the weight you have already lost. I have already lost over 100 lbs and have kept it off for 2 years. I am happily maintaining that weightless but, have also been looking for something to help me get a few more numbers off the scale.
To be completely honest, I would love to lose about 10lbs, I would be the same size I was when Aron and I met and that would be SO AWESOME! Fitting in some of those very cute clothes would be mind blowing!
This kitchen scale weighs in grams, ounces, pounds, and milliliters. It has a tear option and really is accurate. The dish is big enough to hold bulky stuff and smooth. I like it a lot when I'm separating meat. One of our ways of saving money are buying meat in bulk for the family pack price and we break it down into smaller packages at home. I can weigh up to 11 lbs on this thing so even with the picnic roasts, it's not a problem!
It comes with its' batteries. I love getting products that don't have to wait until I track down and remember batteries to use it.
More Cuisine Essentials Round Silicone Cake Pan is something I love. I have a few different silicone pans including the 12 cup- cupcake mold. This is my first round cake pan like this. I love it. The nonstick surface is perfect for taking it out. Just flip and that's it.
It's so easy to use too. It cools down really quick, though. It goes right on top of a cookie sheet to keep the pan smooth. It's so easy to care for and use. It doesn't rust either. Layered cakes are so easy and even. So AWESOME!
I love this 3 Tier Handle Cupcake Stand. It makes cupcakes a whole new experience. The clear tiers show all of the beautiful decorations. It's not just for cupcakes either. I can use this for all of my parties. It's very sturdy considering it is plastic. I love the cute handle on the top. It's strong enough to hold food and be stable. Cupcakes, meats, and cheeses, cookies, are just ideas that I have for it already
It was so easy to put together. It comes with the stick on rubber feet that keep it from sliding and to keep it's balance. I love it!
They are for the grill and for the oven. I like using them in the oven for frozen pizza. They are nonstick and they don't catch on fire. I really thought that they would for sure, catch on fire over the open flame on the grill but they didn't. Very impressive.
On the grill, my husband uses them all over for everything. The meat and vegetables don't stick and most important of all the stuff doesn't fall through the grill grates. In the oven, they ate perfect for frozen pizza and also thing like lasagna that might bubble over and make a mess.
We love these guys. They are awesome with every dish in the oven or grill.
The heat resistant gloves I am really excited about. We have had them before but Pudge and Jaxson chewed them up. (thanks Grayde for knocking them off the counter). I can't wait to try them out! The chips don't have to be cold but, the salsa will. How awesome is that? I will update when it comes in!
