I recently got a review for Easy Roll Parchment paper and I was instantly thinking, let's make cookies!! While I was searching for awesome no-bake cookie recipes I stumbled upon some really good ideas that I had never thought of. I want to share them with you.
EasyRoll Parchment comes in a really sturdy box with a nice sharp edge. I love that because I know what happens when the edge is dull. It rips. Almost always, it rips the wrong way.
The parchment is 100% non-stick and is really reliable. I love having it on hand.
So, the most common thing to do with parchment paper is cooking. It is the easiest non-stick method for making really anything even, non-cooking. Lining a pan for cookies, bake or no-bake, lining a pan when you make anything in the oven.
Why parchment paper is so great is because it is grease and water resistant. As for clean up, take it out of the pan and it's clean! It really does help increase the life of your bakeware too.
Cup Cake Liners
Take the EasyRoll Parchment Paper and pull off about a 6-inch strip. Cut that in half and set that aside. Make the same size pieces until you have enough to fill your cupcake tin.
Center the square over the cupcake hole and push down with a glass or bottle. Press the paper against the bottle or glass to make the firm lines.
The weight of the cake batter will hold the liner down so it is ok to have a tall excess of paper. It looks pretty too when they are all done and make a really decorative hand cover so you don't get frosting on your hands when frosting or eating.
Round Pan
Cut a square a little bigger than the base of the pan so you have enough room to work with. Fold the paper from left to right making a rectangle. Turn the paper so the fold is close to you and the open edge is away from you. Fold it from left to right again. With the right side being the open side and the fold on the left, take the left top left corner to match the bottom right, secure the fold and do it again to create a thin long triangle.
Take the thinnest tip and set it in the center of your round pan at the edge of the pan notch the paper and you can tear it off or cut it. Open the paper and it will be the perfect size of your round pan.
Square and Rectangle Pans
The square and rectangle pans are really easy to work with. Pretty much just measure and cut. If you want to make a pouch, pull off extra so it can be folded over once the food is inside.
Cone
The cone tip was a really awesome one I found. Take a square piece of parchment paper fold in half and stiffen the fold. Cut on that fold to make 2 triangles. The long flat side I going to be the tip. Take one of the long points, roll it half of a roll and pull it up to the center. That will be the tip of your cone. Take the other long point and wrap it around to reinforce the cone.
Adjust the tip so it is closed. Tighten by pulling the paper towards the end. Take the 3 points sticking up, fold them down to make a flush end. Reinforce the end by cutting notches in the folded end where the pieces come together. That will give you a handle for filling it to keep from spilling on the work area.
Aside from cooking, EasyRoll Parchment is great for arts and crafts too. I made a whole Pin Board of awesome Parchment Paper ideas. If you would like to check that out ---CLICK HERE---
