Hampton Creek makes several flavors of Just Mayo. There's original, Chipotle, Garlic, and Sriracha. All are made with healthy ingredients, and a flavor to satisfy even the most discriminating taste buds, not to mention it's lower in cholesterol. Imagine how delicious a big sandwich with that mayo, your favorite sandwich meat, a slice of tomato and crisp crunchy lettuce would be. YUM!
Hampton Creek makes yummy cookies too, Just Cookies. Just because you're trying to eat healthier doesn't mean you have to deny your sweet tooth. These cookies are made with wholesome, healthy ingredients. They make Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Sugar and Oatmeal Raisin cookies. I have read all the ingredients on the labels and they're all healthy and no chemical preservatives.
They also sell Just Cookie Dough if you prefer baking cookies yourself rather than buying them already baked. Are you ready for this? Their cookie dough is safe to eat raw! Oh my goodness! That is a dream come true for all of us cookie dough lovers! One of the not so secret ingredients in the cookie dough is sorghum. Sorghum is a grain that grows tall like corn but uses only a fraction of the water to grow. Chef's turn it into a syrup, grind it into flour, cook it like risotto, and Hampton Creek uses it as the magic behind their cookie dough.
All of their products are verified nonGMO, which I know is a big concern for many people. A GMO, in case you don't know, is a genetically modified organism. It is a plant, animal or organism whose genetic makeup has been modified using gene splicing, gene modification, or transgenetic technology. This relatively new science produces that are unstable combinations of plants, animals or organisms that do not occur in nature of from traditional crossbreeding. Most developed countries do not consider GMOs to be safe , although the US and Canada have approved GMOs based on studies that have been conducted by the same corporations that invented them and profit from their sale. I am glad to see that Hampton Creek is part of the non-GMO project .
I have been all over Hampton Creek's web site and it is very easy to use, there's a contact us page, and even a phone number if you have any questions, and a locator to find stores near you that carry their products.One of my favorite things on their site is recipes, all kinds of recipes. I love to cook and I'm always looking for new ideas to use in my kitchen. Some of these sound really good and most are easy to make. For example Just French Onion Dip, 1 cup of Just Mayo, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients and serve with fresh veggies or chips. One of the recipes that I really want to try is Just Potato Salad with Carmelized Onions. It sounds so good and the instructions sound fairly easy.
In this day and time, with the economy being what it is, it's so nice to find a company that has genuine concern for their products, using quality healthy ingredients and keeping the cost of buying them to an affordable price. Most people in this country eat junk food because it usually cheaper to buy processed, chemically laden foods than buying fresh or natural foods. Hampton Creek makes eating right fit into your budget, and makes it enjoyable because it tastes great. For me that's a win/win. I can keep my family happy with good food and my pocket book from being empty at the same time.
