Battle Mom-Drain With Mettle Energy Sugar Free Drink Mix @MettleEnergy

What do you do on a regular day? I have thought about it sitting back on a day off and it's really mind boggling because it doesn't seem like my feet cover so much ground in one day. The average day here starts at 5 am. That consists of getting the girls up and ready and then bringing them to school.  Leaving the house about 6:45 am, I don't even get home to start my day until about 8:15.

After I get home I settle in the office chair and get to work. My breaks from work are only shifts in jobs. I go from work-work to housework and so on. I am constantly working on "working on something". There is laundry to do and other house chores. To some people that may not sound like much but, it really is.

I am always so busy. I don't get to chill out and really take some down time until about 10 pm when I do the last, last tuck in. I say "This is the last tuck in" so many times, I don't even know anymore how many is an average.

I don't think some people realize how much goes into running a business and maintaining a household; at the same time.

Then there are days like today that I spend all day on the road to get to Aron's specialists. Literally all day. I left the house at 6:25 am and got Cassie to school, got Abby all of her school stuff, talked to the student adviser about tardies (she's 15, go figure) then stopped for gas and headed out of town. We pulled back in the driveway at 3:35pm.

Had enough time to skim through emails then fly down to the bus stop to pick Cassie up. So, were back at the house, she's resting until 5. I am typing as much as I can until I have to start dinner then we have to run back to town to get the rest of her costume. Tomorrow is her dress up day for Halloween.

So, what helps? Since I can't add an extra 6 hours to the day and get by with it. I would still be just a crappy at time management and I would still need help getting through it. Well, here is a little secret that I use to help keep me moving long. Mettle Energy. This is a powder energy mix that comes in a variety of flavors. Sour Blue Raspberry, Strawberry Lemonade, Mixed Berry Blue, Tropical Cooler, and Strawberry Kiwi.

This is something that I can bring with me on the go and keep it at the desk in my "Mom Stash". We always have water bottles. It's so easy to scoop and shake. Done. I prefer just using water but it comes with directions to make it carbonated too.

Non-carbonated: Add 3 scoops to a 16 oz water bottle
Carbonated: 1 Part club soda, 2 parts water (5 oz club soda, 11oz water in a 16 oz serving).

The taste is nice too. It's not one of this that leaves a bad taste in my mouth after. Anyone that drinks energy drinks the bad after taste that you can feel in your throat. This is an easily dissolvable powder so there is no grit. It doesn't have that watered down taste like it needs more flavoring. It's a very nice to drink and it doesn't make me thirstier.

What I like about it is there is no crash. There isn't a high peak. It's a feeling of oh, I am not tired, I want to get motivated. Like drinking coffee but not coffee. There is no tummy upset of jittery feeling after awhile. I don't need a nap in between drinks. Most importantly, I can drink it as I get to it, not all at one time so there is no heavy feeling.
