Garage Fit Workout With Wood Gymnastic Rings and Medicine Ball

Being healthy is something that is so important to us. I have said it in many posts before but, Aron ans I have lost almost 200 lbs together since we mover here.  Between the 2 of us, that the weight of another full figured person. We are both very happy with our results. It's been about 2 years since I have lost anything more. I'm hovering around the same size but, I haven't gained any of it back so that's a plus.

We like finding new ways to work on keeping us healthy. There are a lot of awesome ways to work on being more active and getting moving. My niece wants to be a gymnast so bad. She dances, flips, rolls, cartwheels, and D-somethings all over the front yard with our youngest daughter every time she's here. I watch in amazement thinking for sure I would break an arm, leg, or neck if I tried something like that that. I can cartwheel, that's the extent of my limberness.

When we had the opportunity to work with Garage Fit on some really cool stuff, this is a great way to get the whole family involved without having to leave the house. Garage Fit offers so many unique work out products including Battle Ropes, Foam Rollers, Pull up Bands, Soccer Equipment, Gymnastic Rings, Plyo Boxes, Indian Clubs, Sandbag Training, Shaker Bottles, Supplement Funnels, and Jump Ropes.

We were able to work with them on a review of Gymnastic Rings and a Medicine Ball.

The Gymnastic Rings are so cool to say the least. These are made for all kinds of exercises and made to fit almost all hands, another good thing is no chalk is needed. I was reading about all of the awesome stuff that can be done with these and it's awesome really. It brings the gym home with you. The quality you would expect taking a gymnastics class at home.

I know that is a huge deal for me. When I want to work out, I don't want to embarrass myself by wiping out or doing it wrong and someone laugh. That is an immediate discouragement for me. With a weight limit of over 550 pounds, they are awesome for any age to get started.

Recommended exercises for these rings Muscle Ups, Ring Rows, Ring Dips, Ring Flys, Bulgarian Pull Ups. There are a lot of awesome resources out there if you want to check them out just search "How to Use Wooden Gymnastics Rings" on Google or just click the link :)  and it will give you a bunch of video's and other great info.

The Medicine Ball is also very cool. It's really awesome for core exercises. If you search "Exercises with a Medicine Ball for Abs" it will show so many awesome easy things to do to get you in the best shape ever.

Some exercises that will keep you on your best include:

Rock and Roll Up
Lunge With Overhead Press
Lunge With Twist
Squat Press and Throw
Reverse Swing
Single-Leg Squat
Reaching Romanian Dead-lift
Single-Leg Hip Bridge

The medicine ball is really easy to handle and easy to catch. Me and Aron were tossing it back and forth and within a few minutes, I could really feel it in my core. It's pretty cool that just tossing a ball, as simple as tossing a ball can make a difference in my body. I love it.

I received this for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. If you have any questions about this product, please feel free to email us directly at [email protected] or [email protected]
