“To me Disney represents music. I find music even more beautiful than images. Disney was a genius to create this world of movements with our childhood fairytales.
I sing “Once Upon A Dream” from Sleeping Beauty, in this song I sing to little Laika as I didn’t have access to this world of fairytale as a child”

What do you remember about Disney as a kid? I can ask that to all of my readers because Disney has been around for all of our lives. I am an 80's kid. There were so many movies from my childhood that stuck with me for my whole life and passed down to my girls.

I will never forget the time we moved when Cassie was almost 2. The cable wasn't turned on yet. I dug out a box of old VHS tapes and VCR. I popped in The Black Cauldron and she sat and watched it, the whole thing without moving only asking for her "nilky" a.k.a. Milk Cup.

She was totally captivated by the music and talking. I was so surprised. A movie that I liked when I was a little guy she absolutely loved it. The music is such an awesome part of the Disney movies. They are great to sing along to.

Another great memory is with my sister and my cousins laving on the living room floor watching Cinderella. We were all about the same age. There was only a 4 year span for all 6 of us. It was awesome piling up at grama's house watching movies.

So one of my cousins thought she was Cinderella because everything about Cinderella was and is amazing . She would sing and dance along with the whole movie but her favorite part was the Bibbidi Bobbodo Boo song and all of the transformations came in.

Disney has been a part of my life for my whole life. I am so excited to be sharing the new Disney Loves Jazz. This a great mix of music we all know and love. You can find it on iTunes and on Amazon

“I’ve always loved Disney films and Disney music . There’s magic about the fairytale world they conjure up. The song I chose from Cinderella captures that feeling of magical wonderment that I felt as a child.
The song BIBBIDI BOBBIDI BOO, speaks to the child in us all, that still believes - or would like to believe - that we can do magic. As we grow up, we are at the risk of losing that sense of possibility but music has always had the power to transform the world and make it a better place; If that’s not magic, what is?”

The artists that participated in this collection did an amazing job. I love them all. What I love is it's all familiar music. I was in chorus and we did a show called the Spring Fling and it was all Disney music.

The Bare Necessities #10 on the album brings back so many amazing memories of singing with some great friends. I love the sound of it. It's so much fun and I love to sing along.

My second favorite in the album is Why Don’t You Do Right from the movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit. That was such an awesome movie for it's time. Bringing cartoons into real life was so amazing to me. I loved Toontown. I loved Jessica Rabbit and Eddie :)

This whole album just feels good. I really enjoy listening to music and the jazzy presentation is just awesome.

Thanks for taking the time to go down memory lane and also create more memories. If you have any questions about this album please feel free to reach out to us directly by email. [email protected] or [email protected]
