Guess what, I'm not n high school anymore. My skin isn't high school anymore. What it boils down to 100%, I need more coverage than just a little bit of powder, lipstick, and eyeliner to not look sickly.
We went out with a few friends last night and I was dressed in what I thought was appropriate until the other couple got there and I felt totally underdressed. I was more comfortable casual everyone else was more casual casual. Ok, I need a whole makeover and need to leave my hoodie at home for dinner dates.
So, yes, I have several self-improvements I want to work on. I am going to get right on that. If you know anyone that can help, send them my way! Where did the last 20 years go and how did I get stuck in them???
So starting with my makeup, I am going to learn new tricks to get myself more age appropriate. O I have been googling how to make my skin and makeup look better and all is leading to contouring, Have you heard of that. I have just not paid much attention to it. I mean I have tried the new brushes and used different things to apply makeup but have not tried actual contouring.
I am going to the store here in just a little bit to get some makeup and try it out. I got a contouring brush from Phillips Trading Co and it is an amazing brush. It's soft, broad, and has a very comfortable angle to it. What I really like is the handle, it's wide enough to grip easily without having any issues at all.
So, this is going to be my first step in getting me to feel the best of the best for me. I have watched so many tutorials this morning on the correct way to contour my face and it doesn't seem like it will be too hard at all. I am really excited. Ok, I'm back. I went to Walmart and after about an hour of debating with myself over what skin color do I have and what do I want the outcome to be I finally picked out the L'OREAL Infallible Pro-Contour compact.
It's pretty cool and comes with a brush but, it's nothing like the ultimate contour brush from Philips Trading Co. I mean nothing. I watched a few tutorials to figure out the technique. I did it! I think it's pretty awesome. I am so happy that my lines look nice. It makes my face look more defined and I am so happy.
KISS IT 35!! I am still amazing!! I love the look of my face and how easy it was to use. This Ultimate Contour has a better texture than the brush that came with the compact. This is definitely worth the investment.
