Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Tips for Wonder Womom, and Super Dad

This post is an important reminder for all Wonder Womom & Super Dads out there: you can’t provide your children with the best care unless you care about your health and wellbeing. Staying healthy is relatively easy to do, but assuming a healthy lifestyle alone may not be enough to prevent cardiovascular disease or CVD.

According to the Masters in Nursing online program of the University of Arizona, contributing factors such as high blood pressure and abnormal blood glucose level are still increasing the risks of heart disease in many people.Fortunately, cardiovascular disease can be prevented. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days every week and you’re already lowering your risks of CVD by a third. Maintaining a healthy weight and not smoking are also among the things you can do to prevent CVD and other heart-related issues.
