This is a great gift idea for anyone that loves the safeness and security that comes with being able to keep up with the whole house even while traveling.
For me, I prefer to be the only one that can access my cameras unless i decide to record and share the info. My love for security cameras came from our home being robbed. It was horrible. We weren't home and not a whole lot was taken but, it was enough to make us feel not safe in our home.
Every time the house would make settling noises, Cassie would end up in our room. She had bad dreams that "Bad Guys" were going to hurt us. We found out that the bad guys in our case were supposed to be friends and worked with a family member to take the things they wanted from us. It's so sad that people have so little regard for other people.
So, no more of that!! We went and got the camera system. We love it. To add to the safe feeling, we are always adding to what we have. With the 8 exterior cameras we have in our system plus the 4 IP Cameras we added on,
I want to share with you or newest addition. I just got it hooked up this morning. This is the iSmartLife Mall. It's really simple to operate once it is connected to the App.
I used the LAN hook up, it was easier for me but, there are 3 options to choose from Lan, Quick Scan, or Manual.
The app is available for iOS and Android. It does have capability requirements so make sure your device is capable before trying to install.
The picture quality is very nice and clear. It is just like looking at the camera on my phone. There isn't grainy issues or static.
It is wireless but I feel like it is more reliable being connected all the time. That means not having to worry about using WiFi, it just stays connected. With as many people and devices we have in this house, wifi can be a little sketchy sometimes.
So I am on the app watching this camera with VERY clean images. It is clearer than my new camera. I am jealous at the clarity. I want all of my cameras to be this clear. There is no delay in relay. I love that. I have been periodically waving my hand in front of it to see if I can catch it being lazy. No lazy cam here.
Even though I prefer the hard line connection, the wifi works great with it. There is no delay in that either. It is so nice to be able to go to anywhere and see everything.
This is the perfect camera to have set up right on the front porch. That covers the length of the louse with our main entry and 4 windows. With this clarity, I can keep an eye out for package deliveries and safety on out home.
This is an awesome camera especially for the price. It's on sale right now for $79.99. I have not paid less than $99.99 for any of my individual cameras and I am so impressed!
I am happy to have this as an addition to our home security.
