No More Marco Polo with Lost Items! TrackR

So, what do you lose more? Your phone, wallet, purse, keys, or is it something different? I am always losing stuff. I have even gone as far as clipping my stuff all together in hopes of not losing it. I mean hey, it's one pile to keep up with that is tethered together. Surely I can keep up with one thing.  I still lost it.

Do you know how hard it is to misplace a 15 lb purse with 3 key rings and a phone attached to it? Not very, I do it all the time. I would be one of those people that would lose my head if it wasn't attached. My family knows how I am. I go through my checklist every time I walk out the door. Sometimes (usually every time) I am back and forth calling out my misplaced items like they might possibly play Marco Pollo with me. No such luck on that one either.

Keys, phone, purse, wallet, drink...... I know the drill.
So to help with my issues is an amazing little device called a TrackR. It's really compact and thin. It's smaller than a silver dollar. That's cool!! It's blue tooth and I can have a wireless tether to whatever it is I am losing so much.

It has an app that conveniently keeps track of all of it. I can name the TrackR so managing more than one is a breeze.

I'm going through the process with you so you can see how easy it is to use.

From opening the package it's easy. There is a little flap on the back that pulls off so there are no tools needed like scissors or a knife to worry about cutting anything important.

Inside is the TrackR, directions, a sticky pad and a key ring. I am so amazed at the technology in this tiny tool. It is the same size as a half dollar minus the hook for the key ring.
The app is available on Google Play and the App Store so no one is limited :) I am installing it on my cell phone and iPad so I am using both. All you have to do is search "TrackR" and it's the first app on the top.

It installed pretty quick. I picked my TrackR, named it Amy's Lost & Found :) Push the clear button and pair!

It ran a distance and sound test which was pretty cool. The distance said it was 98 ft away but that can be because of other electronics and walls.  The sound check put it at 82 decibels. That's about the sound of city traffic. It's nott too loud. That's a nice thing. I want to find my stuff not get blinded by. I am happy with the sound.
Attaching it to my purse, the most important lost item was a breeze. What I really like about it is, it's not an obvious tracker. It blends right in with my decorations on my purse as well as my keys. If someone were to steal my purse, I think that it would be pretty easy to locate.

This is an awesome gift idea or stocking stuffer.
