My Biggest Tool in Tracking Weightloss Success #EatSmartScale

When you decide to reclaim yourself and get to where you want to be, what is the first step? What is is that makes you realize that your comfort level with life has met and passed maximum capacity? For me, it's the bathroom scale. I am a creature of habit. I watch the scale and as the time goes by, one tick higher and higher.

I tell myself, it's just one pound. That's not bad at all since last month. I can get that off of there. Then half a pound at a time, I realize I have packed on 10 pounds YIKES!! Well, that's what happened to me recently. It hasn't affected my clothing size but it has affected my clothing fit. Just to add, I didn't gain 10 pounds of muscle.

So, it's the new year. I am a decent size that compared to 5 years ago, I am happy with for the most part. There is still that part of me that wants to knock it down a notch. So do it with me. Give me some feedback. Cheer me along. Through these posts, I am going to share what I am using to help me along the way.

I just got an EatSmart Precision 550. This is a scale in case you were wondering. It has amazing features and I am going to tell you all about them.

It weighs up to 550 lbs. That means that anyone can use it. We used to have that problem before we lost the extra weight. I was over 270 and Aron was over 370. I could not imagine now all of that weight on me. That is my body 5'8" size large body weighing as much as Aron's 6'3", 3X body does now. Aron is a big guy. This just hit me as I was typing. I am sure I have thought of that before now but, it felt like an AHA moment.

At the peak of my weight, I didn't even have a scale, I went to my regular doctor for a check up and the numbers on the scale hit me like a ton of bricks.  I mean, I knew I had gained some weight and that was ok, I was happy and content in my life and in my marriage. My husband loved me and still told me I was beautiful every day. I didn't see a huge problem. Then the conversation with the doctor after the weigh in, I was time to take me back.

We couldn't run down to the store to get a scale without paying an arm and a leg for it. All of the scales were for 350-.It was hard to  This is an amazing scale to keep up with the whole journey. No matter where you are in your life, it' not too late to decide you want better and start working on it.

It's not easy to achieve success but, it is totally worth the effort. Believe me, the effort shows. A little bit goes a long way and it inspires more effort. It's a chain reaction of positive reactions. Oh yeah, and being occasionally hungry, I accomplished that. Then I learned how to manage my food better and I was better for that. It's amazing how that works.

So I want to shed these few extra pounds. I am going to keep track with my new EatSmart Precision 500. The features include the following:

  • EatSmart Step on Technology
  • Quick Responce 4.2" LCD Display with Blue Backlight
  • Automatic Turnoff
  • 3AAA Batteries Included
  • Stainless Steel Finish
  • Measure Units in LBG/Kgs
  • Maximum Weigh 550 LBS/ 250 Kgs
  • 2 Year Full Warranty
This is a real tool well, key to sucess fom me. I like keeping track of my day to day numbers. This is so easy to use and is very sturdy. It does not tip when I step on it. Holy cow it's accurate.

It's so fast. This scale is one weighs and beeps for a reading before my other scale ~0~'s. I am not used to this kind of treatment from what has always been seen as the enemy. Just super fast and getting it over with.

The bright LCD screen is nice and bright. If I am having a "tracking it in the dark" kind of day, I don't even have to have the light on to see myself.

What I really like about this scale is something I have had to deal with for years on multiple scales. It doesn't matter where I stand. If I am a little to the left to the right, it still weighs. It doesn't just leave an E on my hopes and dreams.

I hope you like it as much as I do!  I received this for free in exchange for an honest, unbiased review. If you have any questions about this product feel free to email us directly at [email protected] or [email protected].

  1. Sounds like a great scale--I have to have a really accurate one also to weigh daily and make sure I'm not getting off-track.

  2. Sounds like a great scale. I think that is really important. Those pounds can sneak up on you. I heard it is like not having a gas gauge on the car. You can guess at how much gas you have but if you don't have the measurements, you can be way off. I don't think the number is the end all, but I think it gives you an idea of any problems before it becomes too crazy.

  4. That's nice that it doesn't matter where you stand on the scale. The other day, I stood on my scale and when I got off, I could hear it have a delayed release. When I stepped back on again in another place, I weighed 4 pounds less!
