Learning How To Use Photoshop Ultimate Guide

Being a blogger, I do my best to be a good writer and relate to you guys. I try to connect with my words mostly but sometimes, a picture is worth more than the whole post. I mean really, when I go to other websites, I scan before I read. Something has to catch my eye in order to want me to take my precious time to read it.

I want to be able to bring you the best graphics/images to catch your attention or give you information or both. I had a chance to work with an author on a book called Guide to Photoshop ebook. This is the perfect book for anyone using Photoshop.

This ebook is

There is a complete list of the tools and functions. That's a huge perk because on some dashboards, the icons will show a tool but I will have no idea how to use it. The full description gives me an idea of what the tool is and also explains how to use it,

The options bar covers the setting for all of the configuration options. This section covers all of the options you have and how to use them.

The next section is where I need to spend most of my time. Basic operations. This brings you step by step through how to work a file. Opening a new one to saving it even instructions on how to use formats. Other topics in that section include the following.

  • Preset
  • Color Mode
  • Bit Depth
  • Background Mode
  • Pixel Aspect Ratio
  • Exporting a Project
Layers In Photoshop is so so awesome. I love adding layers to my images. It is explained how to really work each layer.  Moving, Selecting, Aligning, AdjustBlending, Naming, Shaping, and Shape and Text Layers (my favorite).

Working with images in photoshop is really so cool. I love being able to add in images and bring my ideas to something amazing. This is where the creativeness really shines through for me. The options cover navigation, zoom, Actual pixels, The Hand Tool, The Navigator, Brightness/Contrast, Black & White, Levels, and Hue/Saturation.

The next section is for changing sizes. This is very important. Being able to pick the sizes of the images gives you total control of the image so you can determine what the finished product is.

The Auto section!! Auto options are amazing. This offers instruction on how to Auto Tune, Auto Color, Auto Contrast give you the best overall appearance. I use the auto buttons all the time.

There is a whole section dedicated to short cuts. Shortcuts are always your friend. It makes working the whole program faster!!

This is such a cool way to learn and master Photoshop.
