Nuggies Inc. Releases "If I Could Climb Trees"

Recently Nuggies Inc. announced the publication date of March 28, 2017, for the new children's book If I Could Climb Trees, written by Jeff Minich and illustrated by Renan Garcia. This book is the fifth volume in the Nuggies illustrated children's book series.




Personally, as a mom, I love for kids to read books that have a lesson in them, and this book really does. It is well written and easy for a child to grasp and understand the story line. The illustrations are adorable and brightly colored, making it easy for to hold a child's attention and to be excited about what comes next in the story.

If I Could Climb Trees features Coco, a little dog, who is a character from other books in the Nuggies series. In the book, she dreams that she climbs a tree and pictures what it's like for all of the creatures that live in the tree, including a caterpillar, a lady bug, a squirrel, and an ant. Then they all fall into their own dreams and envision what life would be like back on the ground.

This is such a cute story that encourages children to use their imaginations and picture things from different people's perspective, what things are like from other points of view. Building empathy and understanding is the theme of the Nuggies series.

Those are wonderful qualities to instill in a young child, being able to feel for others and imagine what the world looks like through someone else's eyes. The world would be a better place if many of the adults could do the same. The illustrations are bright and vivid. They illustrate day and night, awake and dream state, making this a perfect bedtime story.

This book would make the perfect gift for your children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews, or even a neighbor's child.
