The foods we can cook in the steamer include vegetables, seafood, dumplings and so much more. I really didn't think there were so many options out there. My daughter has taken a huge interest in cooking and she has shown me so much neat stuff.
Being healthier isn't as hard as I thought it was. When my youngest daughter wanted to become a vegetarian, it brought a whole new menu to our home. My oldest daughter started cooking us amazing food that tastes so good, the dishes that we eat without meat, don't feel like they are lacking anything.
As far as being completely vegetarian, that didn't stick for long. We made it a few weeks. Believe it or not, I held on longer than anyone else did. But, with having awesome tools to help us along our way, makes it so much easier.
The steamer basket is so easy to use. It folds and unfolds very smoothly. The hook is wide enough and curved enough that there is no guess work, it hooks right in for simply picking up and putting down.
The bonus knife and peeler both have protective covers to keep accidents down in the kitchen, I love it. The peeler is a 3 in 1 with an adjustable rotating head that makes light work of some heavy duty jobs.
All in all, this is an awesome set for any kitchen, beginner or expert in cooking.
