We love hearing about amazing programs that help people who really need it. The one I recently heard of, I'm blown away that I haven't heard of it before now. This is the Kids in Need Foundation and ArtSkills. What they have done is a truly heartwarming. It's not just a one-time thing either, they are on a mission and they are doing it!!
I was reading their press release and I am so impressed by what Kids In Need Foundation and ArtSkills have accomplished. They have partnered up for the second year in a row providing school supplies. This year, they did an awesome job filling about 400 kids backpacks and 30 teachers totes at Freemansburg Elementary School in Freemansburg, Pa.
I'm not sure if you know what a sting it can be coming up with school supplies especially with bigger families. There was a time when our little guys were small and we couldn't afford what the kids needed. We were embarrassed but we needed help. With the help of a few local organizations, we were able to pull it together.
Kids in Need Foundation has done an awesome job over the last 20+ years. I swiped a few pieces from the release to show you guys. I know you will want to send a high 5 along the way.

It is a wonderful thing that these guys doing together. What they are doing isn't just giving kids school and art supplies, it's so much bigger than that. The core supplies that the kids need for school are the key components for their learning. This helps teachers, parents, and kids alike.
When kids can come to school with what they need and they are ready to learn, it helps them succeed. Kids don't have to feel like they are inferior to their peers by not having what they need. They don't have to be intimidated by learning or by left out.
This is a truly amazing program.
