What's in Your Diaper Bag? #BabyMagic #Boudreaux's

What are some of the most used baby products in your diaper bag in the cold season? For me, it was always the diaper rash cream and baby lotion. Both of my girls had such dry skin it was horrible. I felt so bad. One of my favorites go-to's no matter what the product, Baby Magic was it.

From the Lavender to the original scent, they were all my favorite. The fast-absorbing lotion is instantly soothing without being greasy or sticky. And the scent.... Still, it's one of my favorites. It brings up so many memories just by smelling it.

I'm going to share one with you. When Abby was a baby she loved putting on lotion. When she was about 2 she wanted to help put it on. I would put a little dab on her tiny hands and she would rub it in and she felt like a big girl. I could always see the satisfaction on her face when her lotion was all rubbed in.

So this went on for quite some time. When she was 4, she still loved lotion. Around this time, I had noticed bottles of lotion coming up missing. I knew she was swiping them but I couldn't find them anywhere. After a few months of replacing bottles of lotion, I asked if she knew where it was for about the 100th time and she said "No Mama", for the 100th time. At least she was consistent.

After I went back to doing what I was doing, dishes, cleaning, watching tv, I don't remember anymore, I realized she had been quiet for several minutes. I went looking for her without calling because I had that mommy feeling that she was into the lotion, I wanted to catch her in the act, and boy did I.

I peeked around the doorway and I could hear her being quiet but making shuffling stuff around. I couldn't even see her from the doorway. Considering the size of the room, I should have been able to see her. I walked into the room and she didn't hear me. I walked further in and there I saw her toes. She was at the end of the bed, under the dust ruffle like it was a fort. It was her fort of solitude or lotion hoarding, maybe both.

This was the day that I am happy I waited it out instead of just calling for her. In those few minutes, she had stripped down to her underoos and was covered with a thick layer of lotion. I don't mean the kind of layer that soaks in but the layer that has to be towel rubbed off.

She had so many bottles of lotion. Travel sized, full sized, pump top, flip top, you name it, she had it. She still loves lotions to this day. What a little stinker. I am so happy that this awesome classic is still around for our kids to use with their kids.

My niece has a son, my only great nephew, and we use the baby magic lotions and soaps on him. There is nothing like the smell of a little clean lotioned baby! AWE!!!!

The other diaper bag favorite is the Boudreaux's Butt Paste. This is amazing for diaper rash. It comes in a stand-up tube which is easy to hang on to. It's changing table suitable ready for the stand up flip top lid.

It's a smooth paste that's a little thicker than cream but it rubs in easily so even on the most sensitive of situations everyone is happy. It's soothing on contact too.

This is just like a compound that I used to get at the pharmacy along time ago that was called Magic Butt Cream, seriously, that's what came on the label. That's what our doctor wrote on the prescription pad. That is a little bit of small-town life that I didn't get moving into the city. With Boudreaux's Butt Paste, it's like a little piece of home.

I love these products and think that you will too. You can find them by searching or with the links below.
