It's that time of year already, everyone is putting up their Christmas trees and decorations making their houses as festive as they know how. There are so many cool gadgets to help us enjoy our decorations more. That's why I love the Treemote.
The Treemote is a really cool remote-controlled device that plugs right into the wall, the lights plug into it and use the remote to turn them on and off. Do you know what that means? Yes, no matter what kind of disaster it is under the tree, you can still turn the lights off when you need to.
I have more than one funny story of getting jabbed in the face with tree branches, squishing gifts, and so much more holiday delight because I had to get to the plug BEHIND the tree. This is no exaggeration. I am not a dainty flower and getting down there is a task in itself.
One year, I got a fuzzy red robe for Christmas. I loved this robe. I wore it all the time at home, even if I was already up and dressed for the day. It was cozy like wearing a big blanket. So just so you get a mental note, I was bent down trying to figure out something and Aron found the perfect opportunity or maybe lost all self-control and spoke before he thought.
As I was in my own world, doing whatever it was I was doing he yelled out KoolAide. I was in a compromising position and once I got up, 2 things in my life changed. #1- I never wore the robe again-EVER. #2- I didn't mess with the lights under the tree unless I was sure no one would see me.
The Treemote is a simple style, it plugs into any 3 pronged outlets and supports any 2 or 3 pronged plugs into it. I love this for our Christmas decorations but when the holidays are over, I can use it for any other plug I want to have easy access to. My first idea was the lamp in the corner.
It's really dark in the living room unless I leave a light on in there. With the Treemote, I can click the lamp on without walking all the way in there. I love this thing!!
