The 1.25inch pieces have six bead style ends to lock them into place without slipping. Because of their size, they are easy to control for even small hands. It doesn't take much pressure to put them together and take them apart. These blocks are shaped like snowflakes and pop together from any side. They hold securely but are easy to assemble and disassemble.

What I love about these blocks is they can be introduced at an early age. They aid in developing fine motor skills and creativity. They have to lock into place by one strait the other up like a "+" pattern.
Advancing from there building small creations, counting, and, color recognition. When kids are preschool and kindergarten aged, simple math problems can be introduced to help them jump-start the basics of logic and problem-solving.
As kids develop their own understanding and level of play, they can learn to code and even more extravagant designs.

This toy just got so much more amazing to me.
I know this is marketed as a kid toy but, I do want to add that the "pop" feeling is very satisfying. I get toys to review for all of the kids in our family and our kid's friends but, this is stress relieving. I sat here at the desk for over an hour making flowers and snowflakes. I made a carriage looking thing that looks like a cage, I am really impressed.
That was awesome. I didn't think of anything relating to work or bills. I didn't even realize it had been an hour until the morning news was over and the talk shows turned on. WOW. I'm not sure that this will go into the playroom, I may keep it in the office and let them play with it here and there.
