Do you like taking pictures or videos? I'm a blogger, I take pictures and videos all of the time for products and promotional purposes. It's not just for work though. I love taking pictures of the kids with my husband and just liking to take pictures in general. So, what are some of the things I use to get a good picture? I've been asked that so many times.
To be completely honest, I'm still learning but I have picked up a few tricks along the way. Would you like to learn along with me? Anything that I do, if you have anything to add to it, please do. I'm still learning the tricks of the trade.
Background (upright pictures)
I don't know why we do it but, we pay attention to the background in pictures. If I don't have a solid background, I spend half the day cleaning and arranging the house. Having a backdrop of some kind is a much better option.
I love outdoors for taking pictures and video for so many reasons. Landscape, lighting, and space are my biggest reasons. But, since I don't have a natural scene behind me all of the time, I use backdrops.
Backdrops create a nice balance for pictures. It's nice to have a kitchen perfect video but, it's not nice to see a sink load of dishes or 5 boxes of cereal hanging around. The backdrop means you can take your picture anywhere and have the perfect theme going on.

Props
Finding the perfect prop or accent for a picture is just as important as the mail object. Something to make the object more appealing. Babys are a great example for that. A baby is cute all on its own but the3 little props make the scene so much cuter.
