When it comes time for big kid sleepovers, all things are a go. It's games, talking, beauty tips and tricks, boys, girls, and most importantly,  the bonds that are made.

I made some very amazing friends unexpectedly at sleepovers. I'm so happy my girls like them too. I am working with Yeacar on a review of their queen sized air mattress with a self-inflating and self-defeating option. That is the most awesome thing ever in my opinion. It's 18 inches tall when fully inflated and in case you are wondering, it does fit in the storage bag after it's been taken out inflated, deflated, and folded back up. Very cool.

I have fought the good fight with air mattresses. I have slept on those "Great Inflatables" that cost the most at our local big box store thinking that I will be getting the best deal because I am paying for it and still way up with my hip digging into the floor. It's no fun really.

I do know that all air mattresses lose a little bit of firmness when they are insulated. It's from the vinyl stretching and totally normal. All you have to do is put some extra air in it.

The Air Pump

The air pump is the easiest air pump I have ever used. It's built into the mattress itself. It has a compartment that the cord goes into so there are no parts to keep up with. That is my favorite feature on the whole airbed. My last air mattress was really nice but the first time I put it away the cap got lost and I was never able to use it again. I have been searching for it ever since.

The plug is attached to the bed and plugs right up. The pump has three settings which include inflate, deflate, and off. It's a simple turn nob to control the setting.

Inflating the queen sized bed takes less than five minutes and it's completely full, sleep-ready.  That is awesome for sleepovers, unexpected house guests, or any situation where you need to come up with extra sleeping spots in a hurry. Especially if you have a bunch of munchkins that are waiting.

Measurements and Texture

This air mattress is an awesome height and texture. It measures 80inx60inx18in. It's a comfortable sleeping size and also a nice sitting depth. Because of the 18 inch height, I don't feel like I am falling when I sit on it. For kids, it's easy to climb up on. The sleeping surface is very soft and doesn't require a sheet to sleep on.
