Family Game Night Meet RoosterFin Rabbit Pirates #RoosterFinGames

Summer is right around the corner and it's going to be a blast. We have some cool trips planned and spending time with family that we don't get to see that much. It's pretty exciting. We have so many surprises planned out, I can't wait to see the reactions on the kid's faces!! So the fun stuff is already in the works, don't worry, you will be totally filled in as we go. I just can't risk the kids reading about it before the time comes.

Summer break at our house is like one long sleepover. There is so much to do.

What about the bad weather days? We just chill out at the house when it's rainy. The thought of having four or more kids in the house. at one time. all day, and bored, makes me want to cry. Do you know how many times a day I will hear- "I'm Bored" on a rainy day. I don't have a full count, I stopped somewhere around 17 million or 30, either way, too many times to deal with and maintain my sanity.

My first pick is always games. Games are so much fun and do more than pass the time. Some of the best memories of my childhood were playing games with my friends and family. I love being able to share that with the kids. Hearing them laugh, make jokes that stick with them forever.

We are working with RoosterFin to review a few of their games Rabbit Pirates is the first. These are the perfect pair to slumber parties, school breaks, family game night, birthday parties, you name it, it's fun.

How to play

So, this is so much fun. It's like war with a board and chips. War is one of my favorite card games by the way.

Set up is really easy.

Put 3 islands in the center of the playing space.
Put 10 chips in the "X" of each island.
Each player picks a character, set the extra character cards in the box.

Each island has 4 corners, one for each Rabbit character. Each rabbit has a cannon on each island.

Each player (2-4 players) gets 3 cards.

Take those three cards to load your cannon, one card per island per round. When each of the player's cards is loaded to their cannon, flip the cards on each island to see who has the highest number on that island to win the chip. That keeps going until the chips are all won.

It doesn't take that long to complete a game.

As a parent my thought-

Ok, so playing games with the kids is great. I love interacting with them. But, sometimes I don't want to be saddled into a game for four hours just to see who wins. This game can go as fast or as slow as the players want and it's only 10 rounds per whole game. For regular play time, it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes, set up included. That alone makes it a super awesome game.

RoosterFin Games are so cool to have on hand when the mood hits to play a game. Unplug and take a while to physically interact with each other. Check out RoosterFin on their website www.roosterfin.com and on their social pages.
