Family Game Night Part 2- Wild Dash by #RoosterFinGames

Just the other day we got to review an awesome game from RoosterFin called Rabbit Pirate. It's a super fun family themed card game. We had a blast playing in and reviewing. Now we have another one, from RoosterFin Games, Wild Dash

This is another awesome game that's perfect for a family game night, sleepovers, birthday parties, etc. What I really like about it is it's easily understandable. After playing a few rounds with the little guys, they can take off and play it on their own. It's truly entertaining.

From a parents point of view, it's not a game that is a chore to play, it really is fun. I know you know what I mean. There are those games that don't have much entertainment about that at all and when the kids want to play them you make every excuse in the book become a reality just to avoid it. We have several of those. HAHA Those are the ones I tell them that Grammy loves to play and she'll be staying the night with them soon just to play it. Nothing like the good old payback from the extra tin of stash candy huh, mom :).

Just in case you missed the post about the first game Rabbit Pirate, here is some awesome info about RoosterFin.

RoosterFin Brand Story:
RoosterFin games are teacher-created, simple to learn, family friendly games. Joe, the owner of RoosterFin brings a unique skill to board games with his ability to create authentic game engines. His gift is in understanding how math applies to games. Joe's background, coupled with his years teaching kids, enables him to create award-winning games that are continuously simple to learn and fun to play. Since Joe has left his life in the classroom behind, he has devoted his full attention to making great games.

First things first, I want to say thank you with a big high five to RoosterFin for putting the pieces in reclosable baggies. This saves so much time every time we want to play. No hunting for the pieces that didn't make it to the box on the last game night or sorting out the contents of the box to set it up, It's a relief, to say the least.

The initial set up is pretty simple, I do recommend a grown-up do it to prevent any possibility of a pregame meltdown.

The Cube shaker is very easy to put together but still recommend skilled hands put it together. The cardboard folds easily to shape and the slide, slides right into place, securing with a rubber band.

Starting the game, everyone gets 5 cards and pick a first player. Everyone lays their first racer face down on the table and the first player releases the die. Each color has a different task.

Red- discard all of the cards on the table and start over.

Yellow gives you the option to trade your card on the table

Green- GO GO GO- The race begins.

Flip your racer card and the first player gets to lay down a booster card to add a point value to their racer card. Laying one card at a time until everyone is done. When all of the booster cards for that round are played, add up each players points to find the winner.

The winner of the round gets a 1st place token and the next round begins.

Each player draws cards until they have 5 cards in their hand then the first player starts the round over by releasing the die.

Keep in mind, not all players will always have a booster card to add to their racer. It all depends on the cards drawn for that round.

It's a fast game. so parents, if you are only playing a round or two to get them started, it doesn't take long. Aron and I just played a full game in less than 5 minutes, he won.

If you are looking for a super fun addictive game the whole family can play, this is it. This is an addictive game, if you are competitive at all, you will have a lot of fun at this.

I received this game for free to facilitate this review. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us directly.
