How do you feel about coffee? I know for a lot of you, coffee is life! There is nothing like the first drink of the day how it's very essence wakens the fibers of your soul. How do you like it brewed? There are different methods. There is no wrong method here. As long as the deliciousness makes it the cup with the amazing add-ins, it's ok.

One method that is new to me is cold brew. I always thought that coffee had to be cooked either by a boiler, steamer coffee pot, or some hot technique that means fire or electricity. I was wrong. So wrong. While that method is faster, it's not the only way. There is a smoother, more delicate way that is now super easy and portable.

The Asobu Portable Cold Brew Coffee Maker With a Vacuum Insulated 40oz Stainless Steel 18/8 Carafe Bpa Free is a sectioned complete unit. This self-maintaining doesn't need electricity to work.

How To Make It Go

The top section is where the coarse coffee grounds and water go for the brewing magic.  All it takes is a few minutes to set up. Take your coffee grounds and pour some into the filter. About 1/4 to 1/3 of your total coffee grounds. Do the same with the water. Some coffee grounds and then some water, some coffee grounds and then some water, until you are all the way done with your measured amounts.

After the adding the coffee and water to the Asobu Portable Cold Brew Coffee Maker let it stand for 12-24 hours and you are done.

When the coffee is brewed to your liking, release the coffee from the top chamber to the bottom carafe with a push of a button.  Once the bottom is full, add ice and you are on your way with portable cold-brewed coffee. Add in whatever flavoring you like, I am a cream and sugar girl myself, maybe a little vanilla and that's it.

Using The Carafe

The Carafe is super simple to use. It holds 40oz of liquid so you can add ice to the coffee and drink it as you go. If you want to drink it out of a different mug, pour it into a smaller cup so you can flavor each cup individually. There is no wrong way to do this. The coffee stays fresh for long periods of time so you don't have to worry about drinking it fast.
