There are so many things that make our lives convenient anymore. It's so easy to grab what we need while we're on the go and be instantly satisfied. In a world of convenient, individually wrapped, single-serve convenience, it's hard to throw in the healthy options without having to pay an arm and a leg for it.
Making a batch of super simply smoothies to bring with you on your adventures not only saves money but guarantees that you know exactly what is going into your body from the beginning. No hidden ingredients at all.
We just had the opportunity to work with Freckly FreshPouch on a review of their Food & Drink Pouch Container 10 pack. They are so awesome and easy to use and are useful in many situations which make them even better. I mean, I am ok with buying those specialty items that I only use on occasion but I really like it better when I make a purchase and it something I can use all of the time. It makes me feel like it was money well spent.
The Food & Drink Pouch Containers are perfect for bringing along and snacks anywhere we are going. To my surprise, they are good for more than just pureed foods.
While using them for smoothies is a great idea, they have other uses too.
Baby's and toddlers learning to eat on their own can use these pouches to get a good grasp on feeding.
School Lunches- Kids bringing their lunch to school miss out on the healthy stuff sometimes by sticking to what is quick. These pouches allow me to make something healthy and fresh for their lunchtime.
Picnics- So we all love picnics. It's easy to throw a few sandwiches in a basket and be on our way. Have you ever tried bringing a pie with you? Of those awesome 500 toted banana pies, how many made it to the picnic? These single serve pouches are great for filling with a dessert and being done with it.
GrownUp Parties- One idea that I didn't think of, I saw it on their sale page and was instantly happy. Margaritas! You read that right. Mar-Ga-Ri-Tas. Make a batch of those mommy peacemakers, set them in the fridge and conveniently you are ready for relaxation.
These are also great for non-food use. I was browsing the web looking for different ways to use these because I thought that maybe they would be a good multi-use product considering the shape, spout, and everything else. I was right.
Air freshener for the house. You can add plain uncooked white rice to a pouch with your favorite essential oil and remove the cap. The spout will allow the scent to come out and give your room a nice scent. Good idea to whoever thought that up.
Party Bags - Birthday parties and baby showers make another great idea. Putting little treats and trinkets into the pouch at birthday parties gives the kids a vehicle for their treats but it's not a disposable bag, it's reusable for whenever they want it.
Organising the little stuff- These pouches would make a great sorter for things like beads and buttons.
Because of the design of the pouches, they are so convenient. They stand up on their own and don't fall over. yep, that's right, no mess! Each pouch is designed with a little handle that is perfect for hanging up on a hook or looped on a finger.
