What Is VinThin? Here's How Will It Help Me Lose Weight.

Finding better options for the daily struggle can be pretty tough sometimes. We just did a major overhaul in our home "purging" the unnecessary clutter that we acquire.  Being a blogger, stuff piles up way faster than it used to. Not only that but the piled up unburned calorie count. Wow, guys, I was ready to cry when reality kicked in. I weighed a happy 165 just 2 summers ago.  For my height, that's not bad.

I've been noticing the slight changes here and there. My pants getting a little tighter, my pants legs getting shorter. Yes, for those of you that don't know the struggle, pant legs get shorter when the butt section gets wider.

A big red flag for me is when I start mentally blocking pants and start wearing dresses more. I just do that from time to time. Everyone has those little unconscious decisions they make then have the "aha moment" that they need to get it together. I had one of those this past week. I was hanging laundry when I realized I had no clothes in the basket. I wore dresses for a solid week.

Then I was thinking, how long has this been going on? You know, the issue of the fridge shrinking my clothes. I was feeling really bummed out and unpretty back in the spring. I really felt like I needed a change to get back into the swing of things. I got all of my hair cut off. Another telltale sign. Ugh, I really should have tried to catch it back then!

So, this weekend while going through the extra clutter, I made my way over to the closet. I didn't cry but I wanted to. Every single stitch of size 12 and some 14s had to get bagged up and moved. That really makes me sad. I feel like I have completely failed myself. I know how hard I worked to get down to a size 12 and maintained it for a long time.

So, I'm a solid size 14, partial 16. I am pro-woman. Don't get me wrong. I don't think a perfect size is a single digit. I think that where a woman is comfortable is where she should be. My sister is comfortable in a size 3 to a size 5. I'm happiest in a size 12. For those of you that haven't been reading here long, 6 years ago, I was a size 24. It was a long hard road down to a size 12.

Without surgeries or dietary aids, I lost over 100lbs. I went from 273lbs to 165lbs in just 2 years. While I was doing it, it felt like the longest stretch of time but when I realized I was at a comfortable weight, I was like Holy Cow! That only took 2 years!! It really was a lot of hard work. I kept it off for over 4 years. But, I have no excuses, I've lost focus.

I need help with it this time. I'm nearing 40, me and my metabolism have both slowed. I was afraid that would happen because of my job. I don't move much. I'm hanging out in my bed writing this post on my phone!! unless I am traveling, my work is on my computer.

So, over the past week, I made some changes I know I can stick to. I'm kind of a fly by night if you haven't noticed. I have a great idea then I fizzle it out. So going Gung Ho and losing interest is my story. There are very few things that have been satisfying enough to keep my full attention.

I got an email the other day inviting me to try out a new daily supplement to help with weight loss. I checked out their website and like what I read so, I am going to give it a try. It was delivered today so I am going to start it on Monday. I want to be prepared for this one. Not just another one of those things that I try to do or plan to do and don't.

The website explains so much and it makes so much sense. Because I love you guys and you guys love my honesty I am going to share this adventure with you. Wish me luck guys. I am creating a shopping list this weekend to help me make better choices.

There are 5 minor changes that I am going to make that may take some adjusting but, if I ever want to get back it to those awesome butt jeans (which I do), it's going to happen.

#1 Fluid Intake

I'm a flavor drinker guys, I just am. No excuses. I like a great fizzy cold soda. I'm a sucker for a soda. I know for a fact I consume over the suggested amount of daily calories in drinks alone. If I could survive on drinks alone, I could probably manage my 2k calorie intake but because I also need food to survive, I blow my limit.
By drinking more water, my liquid intake can stay the same without the extra empty calories.

If I need a little fizz, I have a soda stream for tasty, calorie-free, soda.

#2 Get Moving

This might be more important than number one is. If it's not, they are running hand in hand. I sit at my desk for so many hours in a day. I don't even stand much unless it's for something I need. Food or drinks. So I am burning minimal calories.

If I can devote 2 hours per day to household chores, I am burning calories like you would not believe. One simple thing is something I started doing a while back is, not using a laundry basket when the clothes are clean.

I used to fill up the basket and bring it to where I was sitting to fold the clothes. Now, I leave the clothes in the dryer. That increases my movement by bending and standing. It's the same amount of time but increases my movement a lot.

#3 Limit Mindless Snacking

I have a bad habit of picking up little stuff as I go by and snacking on it. The worst for me is Aron's Good Boy treats. When he is doing good or is sugar is a little low, the mini candy bars. I'm not just eating his special treats, they are for everyone but that's what we named the basket and it stuck.

This is where VinThin comes in handy. The difficulty is compounded by bad habits we develop over the years like eating too quickly or just out of habit, and taking large portions. The “satiety” mechanism can be slow – by the time we get the “I’m full” sensation, we have already consumed too much. And of course, we are constantly bombarded by marketing messages that tell us YOU REALLY WANT THIS! VinThin can help will all these issues. It helps us feel full faster, and feel not nearly as hungry in the first place. And it helps us burn calories faster. Over time, it can help change our habits to keep the weight off.

What is in VinThin that makes it unique? They have a specific blend that is designed to help with so much.

VinThin contains five all-natural active ingredients which help the body combat the “set point” effect, and over time can help a person achieve a “reset” to their body weight.
Ladys MantleLady’s Mantle leaf extract (Alchemilla vulgaris L.) has been traditionally used to suppress appetite. The tannins in the leaf make the body react as if it was cold. This triggers it to produce heat by burning up stores of fat. Other chemicals in the leaf may slow the enzyme that breaks down food, making the stomach feel full for longer.
Olive LeafOlive leaf extract (Olea europaea L.) makes less sugar pass from the food in the stomach into the blood stream. Experiments also show that it can help reduce blood pressure at the same time. Because excess weight is often associated with high blood pressure, the supplement has this added health benefit. Arabic herbal texts also mention its use to help control blood sugar. Bitter chemicals in the leaf also help break down fats.
Wild MintWild mint leaf extract (Mentha longiforia L.) has been used throughout Europe and the Arabic world for centuries as a way of calming the stomach and aiding digestion. This increases the efficiency of digestion, reduces appetite and complements the action of the cumin. There is also research that shows that mint can dramatically reduce fat and cholesterol production in the liver.
Cumin SeedCumin seed extract (Cuminum cyminum L.) is currently used throughout the world to treat stomach complaints and to ease digestion. More efficient digestion shortens the time between eating and the body signaling the brain that it has sufficient nutrients, which reduces appetite.
Propol® TR is a patented formulation of Propolmannan, a highly refined extract from the tubers of Amorphophallus Japonica. Purified to a fine powder, Propol has the highest molecular weight of any natural substance in the world – over 2,000,000! It has an extraordinary ability to absorb fats and carbohydrates and help block their digestion. Its primary purpose in VinThin is to form a time release matrix with the other ingredients, allowing the one-per-day dosage. Studies have shown that multiple doses per day precisely timed before meals are very difficult to sustain, and most people do not, which negates any effectiveness of those supplements.

I can't wait to get the ball rolling on this one. You can check out  VinThin on their website- www.VinThin.com and on their social media to find out more product information and about pricing.
