We had the opportunity to work with a few brands that definitely have so much to do with kids and kid maintenance.  These are household names for us, Band-aid Brand and ARM & HAMMER Spinbrush. They have us covered from head to toe.

Band-Aid

One thing I want to touch base on is our kid's feet. You know all too well about those awesome shoes that you just got for the kids a week ago. The ones that will go perfectly with every single outfit in their wardrobe. The ones that will last all school year and longer. The ones that will mean instant popularity because they are all the hype on social media (do they say hype anymore?). The lit ones -hahaha I have been wanting to use that for a long time, I hope I did it right. While they are doing all of this cool stuff for your kids social status, they are rubbing blisters the size of Pangaea on their toes.

How do I know so much about this in detail? I went through this with my youngest 2 weeks ago. Her poor little big toe was so inflamed and painful. I have tried taking the shoes away, talking her into another pair of a different brand or style but she would not budge. 3 of her friends have the same shoe with the different colored stripes. I thought I was never going to be able to pry them off of her feet. They are the correct size, they just rub funny on her toe. 

That's where Band-aid comes into play. They are saving my nearly $100 shoe investment by protecting her little tootsies as she breaks in her shoes. So speed it up a little, it took almost 2 weeks to get her shoes broken in. Which I felt was accessive but, she loves them and she has dedication. If I get a blister on my feet, I'm done. Give it until the end of the workday and in the closet, they go until I give them to someone.

What made the difference is the Band-aid Brand toe band-aids. These are Hydro Seal bandaids that "keep germs out and your body's natural healing power in" with multi-day protection. My biggest concern was the band-aid coming off while she was wearing her shoes and making the blister worse.

Nope.

It stays on all day and can even hold up to gym class and a shower. That is superior protection. her toe healed up very well and now she can wear her shoes without the bandaids, YAY.




ARM & HAMMER Spinbrush

To the other product, I mentioned above, ARM & HAMMER Spinbrush. Teeth care and health is so important. I am seeing that now for sure as an adult. I took for granted being able to have ice cream and sweet stuff without cold sensitivity. I always gave my mom grief over brushing my teeth.

Making it fun is a great way to get kids interested in it. The Spinbrush offers cool characters to be excited about. For this review, they sent me The Hulk, Mario, and Shimmer & Shine powered toothbrushes.



What I like about Kids Spinbrush is they are easy to manage, even for amateur brusher.  The bristles spin, that means while the kids are doing the back and forth motion, the spinbrush is rotating to catch any of the extra particles and plaques that they missed. It's awesome!

Not just that either. The handle is a perfect size for younger learning hands. The operation consists of flipping the switch from the off to the on position.

Do you have any ideas to get the kiddos to use their toothbrush and maintain oral health? Some ideas that I used were basic. All parents are different and that's okay. Bribery works. Hey guys, if you get your teeth brushed you can have a few minutes extra of technology time. that usually does it.  It's pretty counterproductive to let them have a snack for brushing their teeth but, I know several parents that offer a snack as any reward. For brushing teeth, it may not be the best option.
