Check Out This Foam Cannon by Rydell Auto Accessories

How do you wash your vehicle? Do you go to the car wash or hand wash? I do both. When the car is dirty and I'm in a hurry, I run it through the car wash, it's simple but its little pricey. When I have the time, I just do it here at home with a bucket and pressure washer. That way, I'm confident it will be clean. Having the right tools makes a difference in the time spent doing it.

It's nice to have a pressure washer. A pressure washer will easily knock off excess dirt and debris without damaging the paint and shine. It's also an easy way to get the soap all over the vehicle. Plus makes rinsing a breeze.

There is an awesome Foam Cannon available on Amazon that I personally use for our vehicles. This has an attachment for an ordinary pressure washer to make it a high powered pressure foam spraying cannon to spray soap instead of just water. This is the same process that you would use in an automatic car wash, just at home.

It's super simple to use and is very cost-effective. The average car wash is $10 per car and it's recommended to wash your vehicle once per week to successfully prevent contaminants from damaging your paint and finish. It prevents contaminants like dust, dirt, pollen, tree sap, bug guts, salt, and air-borne pollutants from adhering to your vehicle. Fora family like ours, that's minimum of $80 per month, for 2 vehicles. For that cost, I can get a brand new portable pressure washer and the awesome foam cannon!! It literally pays for itself in one month.

What comes in the box

This is the complete set to make the Foam Cannon work. You can buy other attachments but it comes with everything it needs.

1 Bottle
1 Tube
1 Quick Connection Fitting
1 Adjustable Spray Nozzle with Adjuster

There can be a handle added to make it more convenient.

Putting it together

The hose connects to the headpiece. It takes a little bit of pressure to get it on there. There is a post with a few ridges on it that holds it securely in place. Push it up over those ridges and screw the pressure washer fitting into the end of the head.

When the head is all put together screw the head on to the bottle and it's ready to be attached to the bottle. Ta Dah! It's put together and ready to be used.

You can check out my video to see what all comes in the box and how to put it together.

  1. This sounds like an awesome attachment! I would definitely love to try this, it seems like it would work really well. It reminds me of the kind you use at do it yourself car washes.
