How often do you shave? I've have read so many online forums/conversations about how often is average. I'm a 3 to 4 times a week shaver for my legs and an everyday shaver on my underarm area. That takes up a lot of time. But, I like smooth skin so I invest that time into myself.
There have been so many times I've searched for other methods of hair removal. From waxing (owie), to lotions, and creams, I have not found anything that works as well as a razor. With the help of the web and Sensica, I have found some really helpful info about this product and some who, how, and where answers for questions you might be having.
We just had the opportunity to work with Sensica on a review of their permanent hair reduction set. This is so cool, it really it. We got the Sensica SensiLight Mini and the bonus Sensica SensiLight Body Post Treatment Body Milk, it's the whole system to reduce hair.
I'm really excited about this!! The Senica SensiLight works on IPL technology. In case you haven't heard of it, Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a technology used by cosmetic and medical practitioners to perform various skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes, including hair removal, photorejuvenation (e.g. the treatment of skin pigmentation, sun damage, and thread veins) as well as to alleviate dermatologic diseases.
This is so cool because it doesn't require all of the time and mess of shaving. No bumps from razor burn, no painful waxing, no agonizing one at a time plucking from the tweezers. Just Intense Pulse Light to minimize targets so they can absorb into the body.
Back to the Sensica SensiLight Mini, let's start from the beginning.
What's in the set??
- The Sensilight Mini 100
- Adapter
- Post Treatment Body Milk (Freebie)
Who can use the Sensica SensiLight Mini?
The Sensica hair reducer isn't made for all skin types. The fairest skin through the medium brown skin types is acceptable. There are also different results for different hair colors so be sure to check the guide before purchasing to make sure this is a great fit for you.
The unit has a built-in skin tone sensor so you don't have to set anything when you get started. It automatically knows what to do. That is so awesome because I would be worried that I would pick the wrong thing. Yay technology for doing the hard stuff for us.
How does the Sensica SensiLight Mini operate?
The Sensilight Mini 100 is a handheld light system uses flashes of light, to go over the area that needs to be reduced. It takes it from there. All you have to do is hold it directly contacting the skin, while constantly pressing the trigger, glide it across your skin to the next area to be treated. It is not cordless. It does have to be plugged in, in order to work.
For treatments 1-4, wait two weeks between each treatment. For treatments 5-7, treat once every 4 weeks until you achieve your desired results., For treatments 8+ and for long terms results you can continue as needed.
Where can you use it?
You can use it anywhere you have hair that you want to be reduced. When you have sensitive skin and facial hair, it can be embarrassing and difficult to remove. Shaving can leave painful bumps, while waxing can leave your skin flushed and irritated for days. Even tweezing can be irritating and painful. Sensilight works on RPL which is Quick and painless.
