There are so many ways to save money when it comes to car care. The biggest part is just getting up and doing it. It's so easy to run down to the automatic car wash and have the drive-through machine do it for you. Here is a simple list of stuff you will need to get the job done while saving money.

Car Brush





When it comes to a car scrub brush, you will want to have something that will be gentle on your car's surface to not leave scratches on the paint job. That was what happened to me. I went to the automatic wash and it scratched up my new car, gouged my side mirror, and knocked mt tag off. I contacted the owners and they said there is a use at your own risk sign. I didn't see it until I went back and looked for it but yes, it was posted so it was my responsibility.

Back to the brush. I just got the Spray Water Foam Brush on Amazon after that ordeal. It has an easy to use design with chenille material mop head. It has a multi-purpose sprayer too so anything that you need to do with the extended arm is a breeze.

Soaping and scrubbing a vehicle, rinsing a vehicle, scrubbing the floor, washing windows, and even watering flowers is a breeze with the extended arm.  The soap canister screws right on to the bottom of the handle. It's an electric free gadget so you can use it anywhere, just attach it to water.

Soap

The soap you use you will want to make sure it is a residue-free soap. You don't want to put a lot of work into something that will end up looking like a zebra that has white streaks all over it.



Towels or sponges

Again with the softness. You will want to use a super absorbent towel or sponge that is soft enough to dry up all of the water for a spot free finish.

You just did a bang up job on washing your car and saving a bunch of money doing it yourself. Not to mention the potential money you would have spent on scratch repair.
