Wicked Crisps- Deliciously Deceptive Nutrition-

Joining in all of the awesome holiday-themed goodies out there, have you heard of Wicked Crisps? Do you like crispy snacks like chips? I know I have days that I wander over to the snack cabinet and just grab a bag of chips and tell myself that a few will do. Well, they don't. I can mindlessly snack down a half a bag of chips while I'm researching.

FYI- research is the chain of videos about cats and dogs, people falling, weather mysteries, soldiers coming home, and then somehow back to cats and dogs. I call it research because when I am complaining about not having my work done for the day and its bedtime, it sounds better saying I was doing research not I was watching stupid videos.

Wicked Crips offer a healthier snack made out of hummus. I really love their motto. It says it right on the bag, "Deliciously Deceptive Nutrition". It just sounds like something I want to eat! These hummus crisps are a plant-based protein and 4 grams per serving and only 110-120 calories.

These are the perfect snack for a single snacker or a great addition to a party. They are light, crispy, delicious treat that doesn't leave me with snaccident remorse. From a texture person's point of view, they are great because they are lite crisps that look a bit like a pork rind. They are big enough to bite but not so big that I can't fit a whole piece in my mouth at one time. They are bulky enough I am actually chewing something. It's not like biting into something that dissolves so I feel like I am wasting my time with the whole eating process. I feel satisfied by the texture, the flavor, and the size of each piece.

Personally, I have been on a really hard mission trying to lose some weight. It's amazing how easy it is to let those few pounds get right on my middle without even trying. I woke up one day and it was like a huge shock, that none of my clothes fit. I knew Aron had a checkup coming up so I talked to our doctor and asked if there were any ways I could healthily get these lbs off quickly.

The one piece of advice that stuck out in my mind more than anything else is watching what you eat and do not overeat. For one meal, 25 bites is a maximum. That made me think, do I eat 25 bites per meal? It sounds like a lot, but is it really? It's both. I had to work really hard finding out what I wanted to take 25 bites of that will make me feel satisfied in hunger and balance. Wicked Crisps do it. 21 crisps are one serving. I counted, yes I am obsessing that much right now. It over half of a bowl full. It's visually approved. It looks like a lot, it feels like a lot while I'm eating it. And no matter what flavor I go with, I am only getting 110-120 calories. I appreciate every single part of this.

If you are looking for an awesome snack that fits the whole plan, the Wicked Crisps make a great choice.
