What would you do if I told you that you can rewire your house without actually rewire in your house? That might sound crazy but would you love to customize your house with your outlet plan?

I know I would love for my TV computer sound system speakers and everything exactly where I wanted it no matter where my Outlets are. Without having to run or hide wires, call an electrician or professional to fix it for me. Have you ever had to arrange your house around your TV placement or outlets? I have.  I am, right now!

Best Buy now has the Legrand In-Wall TV Power Kit that will help you relocate your outlets, without having to call an electrician. If by chance you're uneasy with the relocation process, Best Buy has someone that can come out and professionally install this kit.

From my opinion electricity can be scary if you don't know what you're doing. And to be frank I don't know what I'm doing. I've always had to call somebody else to fix any problem that I had that dealt with electricity or outlets. Or even mounting the TV for that matter. But that is seriously a thing of the past.

What comes in the kit?

1 power output module with six feeds pre-wired cord
1 power input module
1 drywall bracket
1-6ft power cord
1 cut-out template with complete instructions

That's everything that you need to add an outlet so you don't have any TV or cable wires exposed. The best part, you don't even have to call an electrician or professional. Seriously, how amazing is that? It extends the power to a wall mount without having to adjust the home's wiring. It's like a hidden in-wall extension cord. I can't get over how cool this system really is.

What makes this such an asset in any home it works with most any brand TV and power multiple devices. Duplex receptacle powers multiple devices such as a TV, speaker bar or internet media box. You don't have to limit the devices that you need to be powered.

It's so cool because there are expansion options available so you can create custom solutions for your home entertainment needs. The expansions are things like home theater, audio, TV, network connections, and extra cable management. You can find out more at Legrand.us.

How to use the kit.

Get all of your tools and accessories together so when you start you don't have to stop and wander around the house looking for stuff. That's my biggest problem with projecting.

Use a stud finder to locate your studs and center the Legrand outlets between them. Make sure you use a level for that nice clean professional look.

Use the provided template (instruction card) to size the top hole. Make sure your top hole is no more than 6 feet above the bottom hole. Also, make sure the bottom outlet is no more than 6 feet away from your existing outlet.

For the bottom hole, use the small outlet inner frame as a template. It's so handy to have that available.

The power inlet cable connection (the big box) goes on the top. Feed the power cord from the top hole down to the bottom hole. Don't screw in the small box yet. Feed the HDMI cables, Coax, or any Cat 5 that you may have through the brush strap and through the bottom inlet.

The small outlet has 2 sections, the power cord from the top box goes into the back of the bottom box. All of the extra cords go through the top of the bottom box and through the open hole.

Use the provided 6ft power cord to attach plug into the bottom box and you are all set.

This kit allows for a clean professional look to your entertainment center. No wires hanging down looking messy and no extra wires on the floor to trip over. It's such an easy way to maintain a clean and organized look.

The recessed receptacle means your power cords and your tv will have to fight over space. You get the clean flush appearance of the tv without bulging or lopsided sides. It supports almost any type of power plug including right angles and wall warts.

I took some pictures of how to set up the bottom of the set. It's so simple!

Get a visual of all of your pieces, shown here from left to right is the power cord, the front of the outlet casing, the power cord (from the top outlet), and the back section of the lower outlet casing.

Slide the head of the cord into the back piece of the outlet. (Bottom right)
Place the front of the outlet over it so it clicks in place. (Bottom left)
Use the provided power cord to plug into the power wire. (Top)

The Legrand In-Wall TV Power Kit is so easy to use you will love it! It's the safest, easiest way to customize your home without calling an electrician.
