To give you a fair answer, I say marijuana is neither good nor bad. It’s neutral. Why I think that is fairly reasonable, too.

For one, marijuana is a plant. It’s not an entity that can persuade or dissuade you. It may be a living, breathing thing existing on the same earth as us but it can never influence your actions. People influence their actions. They decide what’s good for them and what’s not. They create their own limits and set up their own thresholds. If the plant is to be abused, it is not the plant’s fault. After all, it just happily exists there minding its own business. We’re the ones bringing them into the picture; making us the ones solely responsible for our own actions.

Two, marijuana does have health benefits. It is no myth or secret. The fact that scientists and medical professionals are looking for more convenient ways to remove THC (the psychoactive ingredient) from the herbal plant. This is because the medical benefits of marijuana far outweigh the dangers.
