Fair Trade Baby Gifts by Peeble Available on Kahiniwalla

How do you read with your kids? Do you have a special time or place that you read together? A cozy chair? At bedtime? After lunch? Any of those are perfect! You know the best routine for your kiddos. Have you thought about bringing a buddy with on the adventure?

I have found that having something tangible is easier for kids to relate to a story especially when their imagination is still developing. I had the opportunity to work with Kahiniwalla on a review of their Pebble Storytime - Humpty Dumpty.

Kahiniwalla is super awesome and sent us two Humpty Dumpty dolls. One large and one small. They have a whole collection of once upon a time dolls that can help bring the story to life.

Have you ever sat back and watched as your kids play and reenact a story that you read them? It is so cute to watch the "huppy duppy" fall down over and over. Both the big and small dolls are soft and snuggleable. These durable toys are made to be played with and handled. Not just put on a shelf like a book. That means the stories and the adventures go so much farther than the reading spot.

Pebble toys are our small contribution to sup  porting families in rural Bangladesh, to removing the need for economic migration to the cities and to providing women with flexible working opportunities which are close to their homes. All Pebble toys are 100% cotton with 100% polyester fill. They are all machine washable and can be tumble dried on a low setting.
I love toys like these. They are hand knitted and hand crocheted. They have a classic homespun feel to them. Every time I see a toy or doll like this I can't help but think of my great grama. She always had the coolest and old fashioned hand made toys. I love it that these are making a comeback for the next generation.

This day and age, grandparents are still working. It's not like when we were kids. I can honestly say, I do not know one grandparent that gets to just stay home and be grama, make toys, and bake like I always saw my grama doing. To be even more honest, I don't know any grama's that would like to do that. It's amazing that Pebbles is a Fair Trade company that has employees that can.

If you would like to learn more about these dolls and toys check out the Kahiniwalla website and look for Pebble.

I received this product for free to facilitate this review. If you have any questions about this review please feel free to email me directly or by the contact button over on the right sidebar.
