Father's Day Crafting Idea With OREO Cookies & Crème Chocolate King Size Bar

This post was sponsored by OREO as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

Do you ever get to the check out at the grocery store and see the perfect snack? I love how conveniently those quick snacks are placed. They always have a bit of everything in grab and go sizes that are perfect for having in the car, throwing in your purse for later, or even sharing with your loves.

OREO's have always been a special bonding snack for us and our kids. For any kind of emotion, there is an OREO for that. If we are dealing with a breakup, a low test grade, a friend that moved away, an awesome report card, a passed driving test, a broken arm, a passed over promotion, a road trip, or even as simple as a movie night, OREO is always our go-to.

I was at Walmart grabbing a few things and saw the OREO Cookies & Creme Chocolate Bars right at the checkout and grabbed a bunch. Who could resist the $1 Rollback price? I know I love these and the kids love them too. I like putting these in the kid's lunch boxes. The OREO Cookies & Creme Chocolate King Size Bars come 2 in a pack and they are perfect for sharing (If you want to).

Father's Day is right around the corner and there are so many cute hand-made gift ideas that kids can do. A Candy Bar Boquet would be so cute and very affordable to make. Let's make a Dad worthy presentation!

OREO Chocolate Candy Bar Bouquet

What you need-

Get all of the supplies together so you don't have to take off in the middle of the project. That's a number one for me.

5+ OREO Cookies & Crème Chocolate King Size Bars- ($1 each located at checkout)
Other stick like add-ins (pens, screwdrivers, etc)
A small bucket or container
Popsicle sticks (optional)
Sticky Notes (or construction paper)
Stickers or other decorations for the bucket
Paper for a note or a card

You will need some other household items like crayons, glue, and scissors.

Sentimental Ideas

Making a note for each candy bar. You can put little things like:

"This one is for the car, when you are busy taking us where we need to go, just know we are thinking of you"
"This one is for your cooler, While you are sitting in the bleachers at practice cheering us on, we are your biggest fans"
"This one is for me so you can share"

Kids know when the best time to give dad a gift, they have the best idea's. My niece and nephew had me laughing so hard at their ideas!

How to assemble the Candy Bar Bouquet

The container you use would be a multi-purpose container. You can use a mug, bucket, tackle box, toolbox, coffee container, pretty much anything. We picked out the Garden Bucket because it will be awesome to use later.

Take the foam block and shape it to your container. This stuff is easy to shape. It can get messy but it's really easy to work with. A good tip is over in the floral department at Walmart, there are so many shapes and sizes of the foam.

Make your sticks!! Get those OREO Cookies & Crème Chocolate King Size Bars on a stick by tucking the stick behind the wrapper fold on the back of the bar. It's so easy to disguise the stick and use it for support.

You can use pretty much anything to fill up the bouquet. Personalize it. You can go with a theme very easily. If dad likes to fish, use lures on the ends of the sticks like they are mini poles, use screwdrivers or other tools if dad is a mechanic, use pend if dad is an office kind of guy, get crafty.

With Walmart having the OREO Chocolate Candy Bar King Size right at the check out on rollback for just $1, it's the perfect way to celebrate on the go.
