Galapagos Travel Tips that will Boost your Sense of Adventure

If you are planning on traveling to Ecuador, then you will know what a fantastic place it is. You may feel as though you have endless things to do and see, and this can really help you to take your love of adventure to that next level.

Traveling to Quinto?

If you are traveling to Quinto then you’ll want to book a few nights here, at least. The city is at a very high elevation. Fog, low clouds and even rain can easily cause delays all-year-round. If you book two nights in the area, then you are more than covered if something should go wrong to disrupt the rest of your trip. If you do land early, then Quinto is a fantastic place for you to explore. You can easily get a specialty tour, or you can even venture out yourself if you want.

Focus on these Two Islands

If you are going to Galapagos, then you should really try and spend three nights on the main island (Santa Cruz) and then two nights on the smaller island known as Isabela. This way you get to see the traditional aspects of Ecuador, and the new/modern side of things too.

Cruises

A lot of people wonder, is the tourism in Galapagos sustainable? The truth is, yes. The tourism industry benefits the entire country and it also helps the conservation efforts too. If you want to see Galapagos up close and personal, then the best way for you to do this would be for you to go on a cruise. When choosing your cruise, you should note that the bigger boats are less intimate but that being said, they are much more stable. This is ideal if you are concerned about seasickness. Smaller boats tend to have a more unique or personal touch, but they do rock way more. The lower you stay on the boat, the less rocking you’ll experience but you’ll also have much more noise.

Your Travel Itinerary

If you are going to the Galapagos, then you should know that it’s important to plan out your adventure as much as possible. Some animals can be seen more at certain points of the year. Some of the animals are native to the islands too, for example, if you want to go and see penguins then a lot of these can be found on Genovesa Island. So if you want to see something specific, take your time and make sure that you plan everything out as much as possible.

Going Diving

If you love diving, then you’ll be glad to know that there are plenty of diving courses available. You can also go on a diving cruise if you want. When you embark on ventures like this, you will easily be able to see everything you want, and you can also take in some of the scenery that is there as well. Of course, if you have never gone diving before then the instructors there would be more than happy to help.
